This was a lovely inn. Reminds me of a Hallmark movie. Beautiful clean rooms. Great friendly staff. Delicious fresh fruit and homemade blueberry Belgian waffles made per order. We will definitely book again.

A great conversion of an old motel into an lovely Inn.

This is an older property that has been kept as current as possible given the circumstances. The main building is quaint and pretty, the rooms are just rooms, but are well maintained. Our room had 2 comfortable queens, a microwave, fridge and freezer, which was nice for refreshing our cold packs. There was plenty of lighting, which for some reason has become rare in other places. There were good restaurants within walking distance, they provided breakfast in the main building with options that included made-to-order blueberry waffles that were delicious. Staff were friendly and courteous, even when power went out (in the entire town) for a couple of hours, pointing us to restaurants that they knew had generators. We would stay there again if we ever have reason to venture to Mt. Shasta.

It was a very cute place. Room somewhat crowded. Unfortunately, we didn't get to try the breakfast due to the entire city losing power, which was no fault of the hotel.

There was a step up to the bathroom which was very annoying.

Good location has many restaurants near by. The room was very clean and he beds were very confortable.

One night stay and it couldn't have been better. Spacious and comfortable room. Had dinner across the street at Harvest. Harvest has excellent food. Included Breakfast was very good and made fresh. Will definitely stay here again.

The Inn is beautiful along with its surroundings. Only one complaint the cabin we got was infested with mosquito killers. Which where somewhat agressive. We killed several and more kept coming not sure from where. Luckily the bedroom had a door and was bug free. The vintage look and beautiful garden are are sureal.

We enjoyed our stay which was a pit stop in Shasta for the night after a long day of driving. The property grounds were much nicer than a typical hotel. The beds were good quality, and room equipped with micro and fridge. The A/C worked well. The location is good, with a very good Mexican food restaurant a few steps away. Other food options are in walking distance also. The continental breakfast of berry waffles made as requested and hard boiled egg was sufficient to get us going and back on the road. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. We would stay here again.

This a quaint little motel in a lovely garden setting. A short walk to several good restaurants. I especially like the Garden Tap in the nursery next door. I was disappointed with the motel’s breakfast. I was expecting a continental breakfast with danishes, fruit and maybe some cereal. Instead the choice was wheat toast, hot oatmeal or a waffle with fruit and hard boiled egg. Waffle was good but made to order one at a time so it didn’t allow for a quick meal.

We enjoyed staying at Strawberry Valley Inn. Bed was so comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. The location was convenient and easy to get. Parking in front of the room was also nice and convenient, too.

A nice quaint Inn! Perfect size for what we needed. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Relaxing and location is great for sites seeing adventures in the area. Parking available directly in front of your room. Friendly staff. Exceeded my expectations. Breakfast is a homemade waffle with fruit on the side with a boiled egg. OJ, coffee, teas, hot cocoa.

Such a great charming find!

Somewhat of a classic motel but has been modernized. Good-sized room with very comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Registration is in an old, beautiful house with stone facade, and a lovely setting in the trees. Breakfast was a fresh-cooked waffle and fruit.

It was hreat

First time staying and we enjoyed it. It's an older place but kept up well. Rooms are spacious and include a living room area, which was nice. Staff were all great. Breakfast (included) was a mixed berry waffle, hard boiled egg and fresh fruit. Certainly enough to tide us over for the morning! Also, there is a wine reception at 5. Lots of things not really mentioned on the website, but delightful. On the negative side. The flow of water in (#7) the shower is painfully low and you cannot get hot water at the bathroom sink, and there was a used washcloth on the shower head from a previous guest! Small things, but this could be better. Regardless, we'll be back, as the rest was great!

Nice, cozy place to stay. Drawbacks: a showerhead that sprayed a stream of water over the curtain, flooding the bathroom floor (unit 1), and breakfast that started at 9AM, too late for anyone checking out earlier.

Very quaint, comfortable and large room. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The Inn has the feel of a bed and breakfast in a motel setting. I would recommend and stay here again.

Great older Inn

The staff was great with fast, easy check in. The breakfast was great. The room was quiet with separate living area and bedroom. The only bad thing was the water pressure in the shower was not good at all. Would stay there again.
