Decent hotel bathroom door so thin you can hear a person breathing little plate plastic piece!
Called Hard Rock but no music so I asked for record player and they charge for that what a joke! Took my records back home !

We stayed there for 4 days for an international conference and chose Hard Rock hotel due to proximity to the convention center. The hotel itself was quiet, sleek and modern. Unfortunately, our room was cleaned once despite asking for dally services. Front desk was quick and professional but the valet people were gruff and impertinent. My simple question to ask for their street address seemed to be an imposition. Nobu is closed for lunch and opens 530 which was too late for our purposes, so we missed out. We usually stay at other chains because of frequent flyer etc, but thought of availing of something novel. In the end, it was not special or worth the extra expense.

Great hotel, with a great location right around the corner from Petco Park. Tons of bars and food options around the area at the Gaslamp. Service at the hotel was excellent, the room was clean and spacious. The bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've slept on. Great hotel, will definitely come back as well as try other Hard Rock locations.

Bed was uncomfortable and no rooftop bar was open. That was the main reason to stay there. Staff was great but that bed was horrible did not get a good night sleep. Very disappointed about the roof top bar being closed

Excellent stay and great location for a wonderful night life experience highly recommended. Also the staff was very courteous and helpful for any request or needs I might have had.

We went on a Padres game night and had a very hard time getting to the hotel because the streets were blocked off. We went to the pool, which needed many furniture upgrades. Overall experience was lackluster and not worth what I paid.

I paid EXTRA for a suite with pool and gaslamp view and dit not get what I paid for. I was told that the upgrade to Woodstock suite was not granted because I USED EXPDIA for reservation. My room was not cleaned after calling reception desk twice for service. I will not be staying at the Hard Rock Hotel again and expect expedia to refund me the difference from the suite that I paid for the regular suite that I got.

Very nice property. The only drawback was the $60/day parking.

Due to the fact that this hotel likes to host pool parties, it’s quite upsetting that the pool is as small as it is. It probably would have been better if there was no jacuzzi or that many cabanas around the pool area so that they could have actually expanded the pool for the amount of people they let in when hosting events .

I loved that it was minutes away from everything I wanted to do however I wish they would not load the in-room fridge with things. I didn't have room to put my water in so I took theirs out and put it back when I left. I understand they want you to buy their products however it should not be mandatory to do so!

My past experiences have been great but idk why the security walked into my room while i was in the bathroom and also knocking mu room door at 2 am to bring food that i did not order

Staff was great; valet was very convenient; room was comfy; location was down the street from Petco. The only downside we encountered was not getting service at the bar downstairs. Other than that, I would highly recommend this hotel.
