Nice place to stay right off the highway. Local theatre within walking distance and a great Italian restaurant on other end of building. Great stop for the night.

The hotel could do with some investment, the lift was broken and the rooms are a little tired and needs updating.

We checked in and were given a room on the second floor the room was ok apart from the headboard on the bed someone had decided to wipe the contents of their nose all over it which was not acceptable and had not been cleaned off. When i complained and showed the staff the photo of it they did move us to another room which was ok but it had a smaller bed and a sofa bed they did give us a drinks voucher for the inconvenience. In the morning we went down for breakfast all i can say was chaos no hot food and people everywhere tables were not being cleared and nearly everything was running out constantly. Had to move the dirty plates cups and glasses to the side of the table when we sat down to have what breakfast was avaialble. When we went to check out they did apologise about breakfast.

Stayed here for 6 nights, the location was perfect for me. We really enjoyed our stay, all the staff we spoke to were very friendly. Definitely return when back in the area.
Some points to note our room 219 had poor lighting and a side table next to bed was missing over the 6 day stay, not ideal if you are wanting a drink during the night.
Breakfast service on the 29th was not great, all hot breakfast items dishes were empty as were some of the cold items on the buffet, not ideal when it was perfect all stay until the day you are checking out to catch a long haul flight.

It was listed as close to the airport, which it is not. However, the facilities are really nice and the staff even nicer. we're glad we stayed there even for the distance.

Excellent value for money and I will be happy to stay again. Enjoyed the drive up from west Yorkshire. Stay over, drive into Edinburgh for the day. Visit HM Yacht Britannia, Drive back to hotel, stay over, drive back home via Keswick and windermere.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Room was clean and had everything we needed. The restaurant was closed for the evening, however staff were super helpful in recommending alternatives. The hotel is on a main road, but this was not noticeable at all. Breakfast was well organised with lots to choose ftom. Highly recommended.

We stayed for 2 nights.. Fantastic location with different food options, shopping, easy to commute etc., but the stay was not good as we had issues with our rooms. First, less staff in the reception so we had to wait for sometime for someone to check in. We booked a family room and we were given a double bed and just over a single-sofa bed and no chance for 2 kids to sleep on the sofa bed. Since it was a sofa bed it had metal expanders supporting the Sofa, made it unsafe for kids. The breakfast options were very less, nothing great to be honest. Not a great quality. If you are looking for one night stay to commute to Edinburgh or Glasgow you can choose but nothing great otherwise.

The only thing that let the room down was the air conditioning didn’t work . There was a fan but the room was still too warm even with the fan on. I would also have liked a food and bar menu in the room .

Two night stay. Perfect for our requirements. The receptionist was very helpful recommending restaurants etc and greeted us with a lovely smile every time we arrived. It makes such a difference with staff like her. Breakfast good, everything you require. Rooms clean, beds comfortable, no complaints really. Definitely recommended.

The worst experience ever in my life the shower was terrible like a trickle they said they sent maintenance, it still wasn’t fixed. The way I was treated was absolutely ridiculous and the customer and communication was the worst experience ever in my life. There was a massive chill exchange staying at the hotel running up and down corridors at the late end early hours of the evening. Followed to my car by a member of staff and had to put a serious complaint in

The staff and hotel were excellent only let down by the rubbish that was strewn outside around the building and in the car park. Wouldn't say that was the hotels issue though.

The hotel is right next to a very busy roundabout and through road. Road does quieten down at night but not fully unfortunately, so not ideal when you are looking for a good night’s sleep.
I asked for a quiet room upon checking in, specifically no where near the roundabout, but alas, that’s where I was put. Back down to reception to change that, got another room, only a few doors down on the same side, so it didn’t really make a difference. Appreciate the change of room but disappointing not to be put at the other side of the hotel.

Very tidy and modern room, everything you need in it for a base for work except plugs. Why is it modern hotels have very few plugs? As it was needed for medical equipment i rang reception and was advised to move the bed to suite myself. Didn't mind that but when i moved it the legs fell off as it was obviously already broken a propped up.

The hotel itself was very nice and clean with helpful staff. The town itself wasn’t very clean. There was nearby public transportation (10 minute walk) which was helpful.
