The hotel was well situated for us and the staff were excellent, shame it doesn’t have a restaurant or snack service

A great hotel in a super location close to lots of super restaurants and also the beach front and centre. The staff were outstanding... both at check-in and at check-out, they could not be more helpful and had amazing recommendations of places to eat and also helped with parking (we had two motorbikes) and talked us though our room... the room was super clean and very comfortable. I know Holiday Inn is a chain and you don't expect much but I had better service here than I have had in some very fancy 5-star hotels... can't recommend enough! Thanks or a great stay.

Very friendly and informative staff. Great location. There is parking spaces outside the hotel but they were all taken when we arrived. There is a large paid carpark beside the hotel.

Nice hotel for business travellers. Overall good value for money. One minor nitpick: breakfast could use some more variety, especially cold cuts.

We arrived on Thursday afternoon, Sept. 19 from Paris and every woman (3) present that day/evening were kind helpful and informative. We came to St. Nazaire to visit the history of the American armys passing in 1917-1918, the German submarine pens and the presence of the American army in 39-45. Unfortunately there was no museum for the american presence during the two wars, nor the French occupation, but this hotel is ideally located for visiting the memorial to WWI and the sub pens. I was told at the hotel that the town of St. Nazaire wants to forget this period of their history...we should not let that happen. There were lots of young people hanging out near the shore and they were noisy.

WiFi great, very near u boat pens, liner experience, eco museum and submarine. Free parking in front of hotel. Large shopping centre within 2 minute walk from hotel. Air con throughout. Breakfast good until 10. Beer a bit pricey though

We only stayed one night but the Holiday Inn is right in the centre of St Nazaire near to the WWII German submarine pens and a short walk to the LEspadon, French submarine offering tours. The hotel was clean and comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom door opens inwards and doubles as the toilet door so two people can use the bathroom with privacy. Ingenious. Plenty of parking either free outside the door, if you can get in or in the pay car park next door. This offers one hour free and quote cheap after until 6pm when its free until 9am. There are bars and restaurants nearby and plenty of shopping in the nearby Centre.

The staff is extremely friendly, and the included breakfast is exceptional. I did not give this facility a higher mark because there was not king size bed available. I am not sure there is even a queen size. We had a double. However, the double was very comfortable and supportive. Toiletries were almost nonexistent, coffee in room was instant. The room was clean, but small. My only problem was with the cleaning staff. One time, our toilet had not been flushed when we returned after our room was cleaned, and the day we were checking out, a cleaning member unlocked our door to clean before we had left. There were lots of plug-ins for electronic devices and free WiFi. Bottom line: I would stay there again if I was trying to keep expenses down.

Business Hotel with basic facilities. The hotel is clean and located near the shopping mall and big convenient store. There are also few restaurant in 1 min walk distance. All was good, except that there is no bridge in the room.

Right next to submarine base. Perfect location for us. Really clean hotel in vert good condition. Really nice & helpful staff.

Excellent English spoken at reception. All the staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel was our base for travel to Guerandes salt marshes and the Oceanarium in Le Croisic.

The thing I will long remember this hotel for & leaves me wanting to return...are the staff!. They were polite, efficient, friendly & went the extra mile to ensure are stay was memorable.
