The experience was great as was the food choice. Dinner was excellent

Centrally located in quaint village and easy to find. Parking in the street very close to the entrance. Very quiet during the night. Single room fine for a one night stay. Lively bar and dining room serving excellent beers and cuisine. Efficient helpful staff.

Great breakfast restaurant ok
Room 1 : just above the kitchen. No silent before 1:00 in the morning. Impossible to sleep.

Very friendly, helpful and professional staff. Excellent breakfast and dinner menu with wide range of continental beers and spirits. Staff were very happy to assist with local information, booking taxis etc. Locked bike store was very useful. There is also free use of a municipal swimming pool several minutes away. Room cleaned daily and provided with new towels. TV in room with Netfix and various other cable channels.

It's away from the city.
Soft mattress. Noisy room (11), difficult to sleep. I asked that breakfast should be made only from plant (vegan), but my request was ignored.

Second year running I've used de Kroon on a bikepacking trip. Lovely place, good staff and facilities four bikepacking/cycle touring that are excellent (bike garage with cleaning and bike maintenance equipment). Plus the food and drinks in the bar/restaurant are great.

Excellent value for money. Location is superb, and staff VERY friendly. Nice size room (booked a single room) and very tasty dinner. At this price point one cannot expect all the latest and the greatest, but all that is required for a pleasant and good night's rest is there. A TV with plenty of channels, a nice hot shower, a clean bed and a desk. Truthfully, what else does one need?
The bed was a bit too soft for my liking, and hurt my back a bit. This is of course a very personal experience. The only thing which I can think of that I would have appreciated is in-room coffee making facilities, but that truly is all that was "missing" as far as I am concerned.
