A Good, reasonably priced hotel. Good breakfast. Not the best location however

The price includes breakfast which is great, they had eggs, sausages, cereal, things to make a sandwich from, tea, coffee, juice, yogurt and some more. The room is old fashion but cozy, clean. Location is quite good and S-bahn entrance is just on the corner.

Breakfast was good. No lift to take the bags. That’s a big hassle. Room was compact but clean and comfortable.

Not as good as the photos suggest. Beds ok but rear room was a bit noisy and the bathroom was barely adequate. Very dated.

The Hotel is old, small and dirty. The Breakfast consists of poor quality bunns, cornflakes and cold cuts purchased from Lidl or similar grocerystore. Eggs are hardboiled. The hotel does not comply with standards of a 3 star hotel. Rooms are small, no double bed (two single beds put together with space between them). Bathroom was dirty. Service at the reception was non-existent. Its a elderly man who speaks poor german with eastern european accent. When he fails to communicate with you he turns angry and hostile. I would say this does not meet standards of a Hotel at all. Maybe a Hostel with breakfast and poor service.

This hotel quite decent in a very low budget. There hotel staff are very helpful. They only need to replace the lock and keys specially for main entrance lock. Every thing is very fine.

Huge room with amazingly high ceilings. The room was simple but we enjoyed it very much. Breakfast was good and the service was very friendly. The only negative was the lack of air conditioning.

Bed was very low. Uncomfortable chair. No desk, very low and unnecessary big tv furniture, huge closet in a small room. Floor was very dirty. No apologies when notified. Receptionist did not seem to care about her guests. During the stay it was around 30C. Not once a cold water was offered.

I like the atmosphere. Including: The staff. The room. The mind.

Breakfast was nice and staff was nice. Bed was bad and pillow was so bad it wasn’t even a pillow. Bed was so low to the floor and hard that it made both our backs hurt.

Its a great place if you need a clean bed to sleep and a place to shower. Overal hygiene could be better. Wifi was not working, reported it, nothing was done about it. Overal great place price/value but could be better.

I had stayed at Pension Bernstein before so knew what to expect. Very welcoming , comfortable bed and decent buffet style breakfast.(served 7.30-10.30 am) Location is ideal for the main shopping district and underground entrance is literally next to the property (although no noise) Relaxed and warm is how I would describe it and I would certainly use it again.

It was quite clean, especially the bathroom. The floor is a bit old but clean.

Decent hotel in the centre of the city. Close to everything.

Very good for the price. Location is great too some nice bars and places to eat close by. Very good for travellers on a budget.

Simply the worst hotel experience in my whole life! As soon as I checked in went to the room, the bed was so filthy! Turned on the tv just to check...not working, went to reception and they say “we have not cleaning personal nor technicians today” asked for my money back they said “not posible since it was through hotels.comWent to scandic around the corner and they fortunately had a room.

Close enough to restaurants ,transport . Old decor hotel ,but clean and serviceable.

I delightful hotel, extremely large rooms, an ideal location (walking distance to Everything) and one of the best breakfasts I have had Inn Europe. I would stay again and again at this charming hotel.

We had a nice stay at the hotel. Only for 2 nights. The place is located right in front of U-bahn station which is great. Supermarket and cafe restaurants right downstairs. Asked the reception to book us a taxi for our early morning flight, and he made sure of that.

- Completely run down Hotel, room wise as well as furniture wise. - Our room wasn't really clean, especially the floor. - Lots of streetnoise from outside in our room facing the Nuernbergerstrasse, due to poor window isolation. - Lots of noise due to cracking floors in the corridor and the room above our room. - Old bedded beds and very old sofa-bed - Even the corridor from the reception to the hotelrooms wasn't clean. - Though the price for our stay was cheap, the hotel was nevertheless hardly value for money.

Good budget accommodation. Clean with friendly staff and a plentiful buffet breakfast. Only negative was poor wifi connectivity.

We were greeted pleasantly and the staff were courteous - although not much English spoken. This is a very convenient location for seeing the sights of Berlin. The hotel is old but clean and modern conveniences. It is above a restaurant so was a little noisy until about 11 pm. Best value for money in the center of Berlin. Note - street parking only.

There was hair all over the sheets, the shower doors didn't slide all the way shut and the water in the shower didn't go down the drain quickly, causing water to just rise in the "tub." Breakfast was okay but slightly below average. Overall, I'd give this hotel a 2 instead of a 3.

We stayed in a family size room with our 3 young children. It was really spacious, the kids loved it. It was basic in terms of comfort, but was a good place to rest after a busy day doing museums in Berlin. A great free breakfast was given in the morning and all the staff were very friendly.

A bit basic but Clean, comfortable. Breakfast was fairly inexpensive (shown as 5euros per person per day). Only gripe really is the lack of tea/coffee in the room. If you want a hot drink you have to go to a local cafe. Close to the main shopping zone and Zoo.

The hotel is in an old building, but well maintained and very clean. The location is also perfect for accessing transport and many of the main attractions in Berlin. My only complaint is that, as is expected in an old building, the walls and windows don't do a particularly good job of keeping noise out. As a result, I found myself having a difficult time falling asleep as well as waking up very early the first night. Fortunately I brought earplugs, so I got great sleep the following night.

Good pension hotel, in a very good position - walking 10 min to KaDeWe Friendly staff, good breakfast, nice room. No negative remarks - but don't expect more than it is, a little pension hotel with good value for money (compared with other offers in Berlin)

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel-Pension Bernstein. The breakfast was good, and room comfortable. The pension is located right next to a subway station, making the location very convenient. Our only complaint is the internet, which is vey slow and not stable.
