Nice clean central hotel, and great staff, would definitely stay again

Location was perfect for attending a conference at the Palais des Festivals

I chose the Amiraute because of its superbly convenient location, directly opposite the bus and train stations. I found that it was also no more than 5 minutes walk from the promenade, La Croisette, as well as being perfectly placed for many shops and restaurants. The staff were unfailingly pleasant and helpful, the breakfasts were basic but adequate, and my room (No. 24) had the unexpected bonus of a private balcony. Overall, absolutely spot on for the price.

The staff were amazing. All the ladies treated us with respect and were so welcoming. Location was perfect, groceries near by, shopping near by, walkable. The room could be a bit bigger, but was perfect for a one night sleep on a road trip through France.

Lovely welcome. Tidy and smart room. Very clean, and all that we required from a room. Very close to train station and main areas in Cannes which was ideal for a short break. Did not use eating facilities (hence not able to give 5 stars to overall and service) BUT looked very nice indeed. Would stay again definitely.

Our room was canceled at the last minute with no explanation.

Two night stay to sample the French Riveria. Too short to give a full review. Public beach facilities poor - We walked back the ten minutes to the hotel to change. We also had to buy a cheap beach towel. otherwise what coud we not love about Cannes with a sandy beach!

Nice little hotel just across from train station. Comfortable bed, nice shower with good water pressure. Friendly and helpful staff.

Convenient location, close to a supermarket, we had a superior room which we felt was good value.

Really the balcony was the only thing that makes me feel like I would recommend this hotel to a friend. The large balcony in our 4th floor room overlooking Cannes was really great! Otherwise, the hotel was relatively not great. Although our bathroom had an actual bath which was quite nice.

The hotel was ok, great location. Room was small and in the attic of the building. The room ceiling slanted downwards so it was hard to stand up in half of the room. The bathroom had a big beam through the middle and no shower screen or curtain so it was uncomfortable to shower. The lift stops at level 4 and our room was level 5, we had to carry heavy suitcases up one flight. Great location, just request a room on the first 4 floors.

The room was comfortable, clean and spacious. The hotel was in a great location and had parking available.

Hotel has small rooms, but it's common in France and is a great location, nice air conditioning, and front desk let me use one of their electric convert for my phone because my daughter lost ours ..

This room is smaller than I expected. It was very clean, and I think the room is good for only one person even though I booked a double room. It was in the center of the city and the location was excellent.

Good location across the road from the train station and a short walk to the center of town and beaches. Small reception but helpful and always present reception staff. Building a little old but well kept. Dispite central location quiet at night during our stay. Certainly adequate in an expensive market.

Fantastic value for money. Very close to the station which provides easy access along the coast. Short walk to the centre of town and sea front, with plenty of restaurants, bars and cafes nearby.

I stayed here with my 12 year old daughter for 3 nights. It was on the same road as the train station so very convenient but had sound proof windows so noise was not a problem. The receptionist was very friendly and happily let us use the bathroom after our long journey, before our room was ready. She kindly told us when we could get properly settle in our room and we went off to get a drink for 45 minutes. The room was on the top floor which the lift did not quite reach so you had to climb some stairs but we found this good exercise.The room was very bright and the bathroom and bedding all appeared very new and clean which was nice. The carpet was a little tired and it was not a huge room but big enough. Our only problem was the slanted roof - we both hit our heads many times as we used the space under the roof so this was a little frustrating. Looking in on one or two other rooms we noticed beautiful large almost floor to ceiling windows onto the side streets which were much nicer than our velux window but I presume they were not available for a twin room that we booked. So if booking try and check which room you have been allocated. Breakfast was good and in a small but light and airy room and open until 10am. Overall we were very pleased with our hotel choice as it new and clean and was very close to the old town and not far from a public beach.

The hotel has a problem as we only just arrived,went out for 2 hours for a meal We were advised in what direction the restaurantswere in by the male receptionist. .In that time someone entered our room and took a box of jewellry from a drawer and there was no sign of forced entry.
