The woman who checked us in was great. However, they ran out of water in the lobby by 9pm and never refilled, not even by the time we left in the morning. Not even after I asked for it to be refilled. They also ran out of coffee before we left at 6:20am. The bagels weren't cut and there was no cream cheese. They do not seem set up to handle early mornings.

Very close to everything

Everything was clean and felt safe. We couldn’t get a room on 4th floor but only had someone above us walking around a lot one night so ok. Grout around shower needs to be removed and replaced and shower door jam fixed. Breakfast had potential but first day missing silverware except spoons and 0 napkins anywhere. We looked around and no one else had them either. Nice big parking lot, Could probably even park a boat or trailer….

Located on UC Davis campus, which is within walking distance to the downtown Davis area. Very friendly and helpful receptionist. The rooms were clean and roomy.

I have always stayed at Hyatts as they are not only spacious but the breakfast is delicious. This time around i chose to stay at the Hyatt at the Uc Davis campus as my eon plays for UC Davis and i wanted to be closer. The first night was fine, room as clean. The breakfast was very plain, no eggs, over cooked french toast, no creamer for coffee. It just seemed like there were too many guest with not enough staff. Came in late and there was no parking, mind you I paid $17.00 per night for parking. We drove around for like 8 minutes to only see tons uhaul trucks, no parking permits, trailers with no parking permits. I went inside to find out where i could park to only find out that we can park in front of the front office but that they wouldnt be liable if i was ticketed. I informed the young lady assisting me that while this wasnt her fault that it was her responsibility and i was looking for a solution to only get interrupted by Justin the other worker who proceeded to say “its not our fault “ . I reaponded with, one, yes i am fully aware that this is not your fault however, you chose to work here, there for , a solution is needed. Secondly, i do this for a living and your response was not only not necessary , the tone of which you are speak to me is disrespectful. Needless to say they continued to sell parking passes with no parking available. I sadly will not be returning to that Hyatt.

Dated building and room

Had to change rooms because first room was smelly, wall paper was torn.. This is an old property perhaps, now showing its age. They also charge $17 per night for parking in the middle of nowhere and empty parking lot.

Check in staffing is not so friendly. Overall great hotel chain. Clean.

Located directly inside of UC Davis campus. Perfect location. Bikes available to ride to downtown Davis with plenty of eating/drinking options.

Easy access from freeway with ample parking and an easy walking distance to the UCD campus areas.

The room was very spacious and clean, Really enjoyed how close it was to Disneyland.

The rooms were odd, bathroom sinks directly across from the beds so if you needed to use them or the bathroom at night it’d wake everyone up. The floor in the hallway looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed all year. The elevator and ice machine broke during our two nights there. I had to get several new key cards as they didn’t work. The pool is small like half of a normal pool. in a good location tho.

Pictures do this place way too much justice it’s kinda dumpy to be honest. The breakfast food staff was really nice though.

Love everything about this hotel. Pleasant staff, it’s clean, beautiful, spacious rooms. Highly recommend! We come here once a year.

Our keys stopped working several times. I had to go down stairs and get new keys three times. We were offered maid service when we checked in. I requested it for Saturday morning. They no-showed. So then I had to go down stairs again and request 4 towels and 2 rolls of toilet paper. I received 3 towels. The large jug of water close to the check in counter was empty several times. The breakfast was cold (potatoes and sausage). The lady at the front counter acted irritated when we asked for something. The phone didn’t work in the room. We won’t stay here again.

This property felt so dated and my room faced the HVAC of the second floor. It did not feel like our other Hyatt stays.

Good: Close to UC Davis campus, rooms are spacious, breakfast starts from 6:30am, towels were changed everyday Bad: The hotel is located next to the train tracks and highway so VERY noisy even at night. Had to use ear plugs. Unfriendly receptionists. No security lift access to the rooms - anybody can come up to your room.

We had to change rooms because our first room had a leak in the bathroom where the entire floor was flooded. Second room had minimal bedding and no shower gel in the dispenser. The front desk person was in a salty mood. No mention about the property being next to a loud train. Not worth $250/night

Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful nights sleep and a delicious morning breakfast!
