The Blackjack Inn is my number one choice whenever I stay in South Lake Tahoe. Check-in is quick and the front desk representative is friendly and informative... Parking is good. The spaces are a bit narrow but I've always found good parking...
The rooms are both affordable and comfortable- just the right size for my needs....
Conveniently located near the Van Sickle Trail and about a 20 minute walk to Lam Watah Nature trail...
I'm a bit sad when I have to check-out but look forward to my next visit to SLT and the Blackjack Inn. :)

Great location! You can walk to casinos. A bit tight on parking but parking is free. Room was nice and bathroom updated. I would stay there again.

The hotel is a small place off the main road, which means it's ideally located to park your car and walk around. Very comfortable and quiet, and as a solos female traveler I felt comfortable here. My only complaint was the folks in the next room turning on their shower at 5am and waking me out of a solid sleep. Not a hotel problem, but it's worth noting that you will hear ALL the water usage of other people.

Check in is fast and easy, staff is friendly. Parking is a little tight for large vehicles. Great location, close to restaurants, Starbucks, and the lake. Premium King bed a little small and no in room coffee machine. Coffee available in lobby in the am.

Lovely people, comfortable, clean remodeled room close to old town (we walked). Proprietors let us leave our car after check out while we took a boat ride.

I booked this hotel because Hotels.com said it was a 8.9. When we first drove up to it, it looked like the Bates Motel. The parking was really tight and not much of it. Other than that, it’s an awesome place for the price. Very clean room, beds were really comfortable. Shower was awesome and looked like it had recently been redone. Nice TV, microwave and refrigerator. It was just me and my wife. the room was a little small, but it’s perfect for two people. It’s perfectly located in the middle of downtown between all the restaurants and shops. For the price, I would definitely stay there again.

Lovely staff! Very nice. Room was a little on the small side with a queen bed but not in a bad way, it was good for 2 people. Very convenient and easy to walk to heavenly village and surrounding places. Would stay again!

We stayed at Blackjack Inn mostly for its location (a short walk away from Harvey’s outdoor concert arena). The room was comfortable and clean. Having the fridge and microwave in the room was perfect. If we had wanted to, there were many restaurants and shops nearby we could have chosen from. The gentleman at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful. The only downside was the unsecure WiFi.

Unfortunately it was pretty clear that the bath area wasn't cleaned with hair on the wall and floor, and it wasn't a small amount either.

The room was clean but very ugly and cheap. It doesn’t look like the photos, at least not my room. The walls are very thin, you get the noise from the streets and others rooms. I didn’t liked the bed, it was too soft for my back.
It was at a walkable distance from restaurants, casinos, beach…

It’s a clean no-frills motel in a convenient location run by a very helpful family.

Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Hotel is very close to the shopping center and casinos. Only downside- there was a raccoon or some kind of large animal in the ceiling scratching and moving around. When reported the staff did check it out right away.

Great location everything is close.
Clean room, you can tell they make an effort to really clean the room.
Management is very friendly and accommodating.
