Hotel is excellent with comfortable rooms and handsome public areas. Restaurant grossly overpriced with average food, although breakfast at $40 is the best cooking of the day. Staff very pleasant. Cross the harbor bridge to reach agreeable di I g and visit the stylish neighborhood. Not much surrounding the hotel itself. Public transport is near by to all parts of town.

The Hyatt Regency is a very nice hotel, very modern at a nice location. This was already my fifth stay at the hotel. However the service got worse. Unfortunately we had a wrong preorder to our room and the room Service in general took very long during our stay. Especially the processes during breakfast need to be improved. Coffee and omletes should be ordered by the staff But it took forever to get someone to take your order and orders came very late and on top sometimes wrong.

It's difficult to fault the Hyatt. It's modern; Close to the old town; In a nice quiet part of Dusseldorf. The Hotel facilities are great especially the Spa and the Bar (although very expensive!). The rooms are nice, clean with great views of the river. If you can, insist on a room with river views. The only negative was the fridge in the room. The first I have ever seen pre loaded with drinks which if you accidentally move or take out from their position, you're charged. This actually ruined my room experience. As in any 3 or 4 star Hotel, you can put what you want in the fridge. But the Hyatt want you to consume only what they put in the fridge in which is totally ridiculous. This may seem small, but its huge as it shows they are putting profits ahead of guest Hotel experience. Overall, I would stay again, but only with an empty fridge!!

The room was really clean and had an excellent view with the floor to ceiling windows. Staff were very polite.
The only downfall was the bar was ridiculously expensive. I expect to pay more in a hotel but these prices were extortionate.

This has been one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at and we travel the world. Service was outstanding and our suite was amazing! Not to mention their on site restaurant was one of the best for not only breakfast but dinner I have ever experienced in a hotel.

Great hotel in a fast developing part of Dusseldorf. The location is outwith the city centre but in a great location right on the water, with plenty of alternative restaurants, bistros and bars within short walking distance.It is around 15 Euros in a taxi to the town centre, but I believe the hotel offers a free shuttle service there.The hotels bar and restaurant were comfortable and welcoming, with a good mix of groups and single travelers, with the option to dine at the bar if preferred. Staff were attentive and courteous without being over familiar, which is always a positive.The Spa and fitness centre were also first class and not too busy.In summary, an excellent hotel which I will definitely recommend and use again. Will definitely
