The hotel is terrific, with a wonderful view of the neighborhood. You could even see a bit of the Alhambra out the window. Fantastic, magical, location. The experience exceeded our expectations.

Location was unbeatable, with Alhambra views from the balcony and windows. We originally booked interior courtyard rooms, but got upgraded to Alhambra views with complimentary wine.

Excellent location, and the staff was very nice. A lot of advise to visit the town.

Loved the friendliness of the staff , decor, cleanliness. We are seniors and it was a little difficult getting to and from our room because the elevator went to the 2nd floor then you have to navigate marble steps to 3rd floor, especially with suitcases.

The picture here is very misleading. The room we had was extremely small and poorly organized. But there are two big problems that I had with this hotel. 1. There is no closed bathroom. There is a door like in a stall with un opening above. So the the smells and sounds are part of your tiny room. Unacceptable. It could be drywall’s without a problem. 2. Internet was existent but because of the poor signal was unusable. 3. Stuff is there is only until 8 pm which is not horrible but inconvenient. They were nice but could not help. I would not recommend this property.

Great location, spacious room, friendly staff. Recommendation: breakfast in the coffee place on the ground floor. If you arrive by car with heavy luggage, take a cab from the parking lot.

We stayed in 2 different Shine properties in Granada and liked both of them. Helpful, English speaking staff, and longer checkin hours than some Spanish places. Good showers. We liked our bed, kids didn’t like theirs as much. First place on Elvira had bedrooms down a spiral staircase and the kids loved that. Place on the river had beautiful lit view of Alhambra at night. My son felt like he was sleeping on the street with all the noise and not much insulation (typical). We had interior room and it was nice.

This hotel was just perfect, with the right balance between being charming and comfortable. As you enter, you are greeted with a courtyard, completely forgetting where you are. The receptionist (I forget her name) was super friendly and one of the nicest hotel staff I've encountered. We were upgraded to a suite for a small extra fee (totally worth it). The room itself was really large, with traditional furniture, two working air conditioning units (which seems to be a luxury in European hotels) and perfect views of the Alhambra. Though, I'd have been equally happy with a smaller room without views, because the biggest advantage of this hotel is it's location. It's on one of the main streets of the neighborhood, which trust me, is very needed, because cars cannot go to other places which means you'd have to walk up steps or hills with your luggage. Given it's location, you can call Uber, taxi or take the bus from right near the hotel. You can walk to the Alhambra, to anywhere in Albaysin, Sacramonte or to city center. We loved it and wish we had another couple of days here. Most hotels seem to get a 4 star rating for the frills (like a separate concierge desk) but I found this hotel better than most 4 stars we stayed at though it officially has a 3 star rating.

We had an amazing stay, we stayed in the top room with a view! It was indeed a beautiful view and room. Sitting by the windows and drinking wine at this hotel was one of the highlights of our trip! Would def return!

16 century house in Arab Quarters converted into modern hotel. Beautifully appointed and carrying the feeling that you live inside the history of Spain with the view of the Alcasar from our suite. Extremely helpful stuff. Very friendly.

Hotel staff got our room ready well ahead of normal check in, as we were on an early flight in to Granada. The room was tidy and well stocked. The staff was attentive and polite. The facility is gorgeous, with a central atrium open to the sky. There is a separate catering service immediately attached to the hotel. The location was central and scenic but not too noisy. Note that there is no parking onsite nor nearby.

Amazing stay here! The front desk people were so helpful and kind. Would easily stay here again. Room was also beautiful and so clean!
