We stayed in one of the cottages during August. Right on a lake, easy to find and convenient to fantastic wineries and restaurants. The proprietors are also lovely and helpful.

Well stocked with good quality products from toiletries to coffee/tea breakfast supplies even a 1lt. juice and milk.
The only minor negative, no drinking water supplied for taking medication or middle of the night drink when you get up with a thirst .
They also offered a cheaper night extra stay and a later checkout which was great.

Just a great place to relax & unwind. Good people to deal with. Enjoyed a paddle around the lake in the boat provided.
Not far from home in an area that we know well.
Have stayed 3 times so far & will stay again in the future :)

Beautiful location close to some great wineries. The cottage was very cosy and well presented. Our only complaint being the bed was quite small, but overall a very enjoyable stay with great communication from management. Really appreciated the little touches like a stocked fridge and a free bottle of wine in the room. We'd definitely come back.

Only the best quality and service from Stonewell Cottages!! I stayed with my husband for a long weekend in the Spa Haven 2 cottage and it was a fantastic experience. Every detail had been thought of from soft & fluffy bath robes, daily wood stocked for the fireplace, to amazing local produce for breakfasts and snacks (and heaps of it!!) ans duck-feeding pellets :) :) The service we received was brilliant too, letting us arrive a couple of hours early and accommodating for dietary requirements. Will definitely be coming back, what a beautiful, relaxing escape!!

One of the nicest cottages with large compound (lake for rowing), vineyard surrounds. Ducks and birds to feed at doorstep. My 3rd stay at this cottage!

My wife and I stayed at Cupids for 3 nights in March this year. The stay celebrated our birthdays and 40th wedding anniversary. We had stayed previously at both cottages some years ago. I can only comment on Cupids on this occasion which we found to be excellent as expected from our last visit. I'd like to thank Tina for her professional courtesy when I initially booked the place and for her follow up during the stay from her staff.

Cupids cottage is very private, including own driveway. The breakfast provisions were amazing with far more than what was necessary but it was terrific to have so much choice. Super comfy bed, excellent shower,sumptuous spa. My favourite feature was the wine rack where you can select (& pay for) your own local wines. Courtesy phone call from Tina halfway through our stay was another lovely touch. Highly recommend.

Amazing time, so far the best place I have stayed while in Australia. Marvelous scenic location, yet close to Tanunda, clean, comfortable and everything you may wish for amenities and impeccable attention to details in every bit. Totally recommended for stay!!!

We cannot wait to go back. From the we arrived at the cottage we feel in love. We walked in and found the cottage to feel just like home. The fridge was full of breakfast supplies, there was plenty of coffee and tea and a beautiful bottle of Shiraz. We loved being welcomed by the ducks and even enjoyed a paddle in the row boat on the dam. We also had the best night sleep on the most amazingly comfortable bed. It was definitely worth every cent and highly recommend it to all who want to enjoy the Barossa but want the privacy and comfort of your own little hideway.

We stayed at the Hideaway cottage. The whole experience was wonderful. A great deal of thought and care had been put into the furnishing and amenity of the cottage and the outlook was great
