It was a good stay at Aqualux. There are not so many pools in winter but the spa area is very relaxing. Absolutely great the breakfast and the professionalism of the staff there, the highlight of the stay.

The king size bed was wonderful but sofa bed was far too soft.

I love the pool and spa facilities. It is also close to town making it very convenient for access to Bardolino and Lake Garda.

Very modern, peaceful and great facilities

Nice, modern hotel. Room a good size but decor is a bit drab and beds are too firm but comfortable overall. The gardens and pool areas inside and out are fabulous but the experience is spoilt by the very hard and uncomfortable sun beds - why doesn’t the hotel provide cushions for the sun beds like many other hotels I have stayed in. The food in the buffet is fairly mediocre, although we ate in Evo one evening and the meal was very good, but expensive. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the beginning of the pedestrianised old town where there are so many excellent restaurants.

Great location, the EVO Restaurant was famous, It would be great if Pools open before 9 o clock.

Hotel was spotless, rooms were lovely, although surprised our room only had a bath and no shower, This was not an issue as we used the showers in the spa instead which were spotless and close to the sun beds so very convenient at the end of our days spent at the pool. I don’t usually use the pools in hotels however I used the several pools at the hote, the water was warm and there were several different pools to choose from which included jacuzzi and a small lazy river, the pool area was beautiful, decking and grass and beautiful flowers and bushes. There were an adequate number of sinners available. Breakfast food selection excellent. Juicer available for all guests to use. We ate dinner one night and the food was nice but I preferred to walk to restaurants in the town. Location of hotel is perfect, 5 min walk to Bardolino old town which is beautiful and has a large selection of superb restaurants. One of the reception staff was the only disappointment, never listened and talked over the top of you which we found very rude. Most of the staff nice and friendly but a few not so much. Maybe we had just previously been spoilt in the other two hotels we stayed in while visiting Italy as the hospitality and friendliness we received was excellent. I would still return to the hotel as far more positives than negatives.

Our second visit to this hotel. The pool area is one of the main reasons we returned. It is fantastic for adults and kids and it's lovely to be outside in a heated pool when the weather isn't so great. Hotel is modern, clean and comfortable. No issues with the room or bathroom. Service levels are inconsistent. Some staff were great, others can be unhelpful and on the odd occasion appeared a little rude although that could be lost in translation. Breakfast was disappointing compared to last year when an omelette station was in operation but the hotel was very quiet on this occasion as we stayed before the main Easter weekend. If the service levels were more consistent I would not hesitate to give a 5 star review. It is very likely we will return in any event.

Everyone in the hotel spoke very good English and was very welcoming. Check in was on time and was given the information we needed. Our room was gorgeous and cleaned perfectly, even making our bed everyday was lovely. Would highly recommend and would stay again. Thank you everyone.

We stayed for a week, the hotel is located 10 minutes walk (ignore the reviews complaining of the walk, it’s only 10 minutes!) from the town which is lovely with plenty of restaurants, bars and shops and amazing views across the lake. Our room overlooked the pools and was lovely and clean with a big comfortable bed. The pool area has plenty of sunbeds with parasols and the pools are nice and warm. It also has a lovely calm atmosphere which is perfect for a relaxing holiday. The breakfast selection is fantastic and very good quality. All of the staff were very friendly and attentive. We had lunch at the restaurant on a couple of days which was good, and drinks at the pool bar, which were also good. They also have nice touches like free watermelon at the bar in the afternoon and snacks during happy hour. Only minor gripe would be the WiFi wasn’t that reliable (I realise this will matter more to some people than others). All in all a great hotel and holiday.

Lovely hotel, spa and pools are very good, 10 minute walk to bardolino centre where there are many nice restaurants.

Very nice comfortable stay with pleasant staff who mostly spoke good Ebglish. Found it lacked atmosphere at times but it didn’t spoil our stay. It is a short walk to many shops and good restaurants.

Amazing hotel and location, wish we stayed longer

Amazing pools, very clean hotel with great breakfast... wide choice including healthy options - even a juicing machine, reduced sugar jams and vegan croissants. Room was a bit small for 2 adults and 2 children with luggage but was kept v clean.

Aside from paying through the nose for a 'city view room which is in fact a view of the service road or car park. The reception staff were rude and unhelpful when I complained. The manager said that the cost of €200 per night included the 8 pools blah blah. The 8 pools do not even cover an olympic sized pool collectively. The hotel is dull. Not one ounce of sparkle. The breakfast is great and the bespectacled waitress hard working and amazing. The evening buffet with music was foul. The staff were lovely but the food wasn't replenished yet we'd only been there 30 minutes. It's not in a good location and there are far better hotels of which I've been to providing real vfm and in a nicer location. Avoid it like the plague!

The hotel was perfect for our purposes. Location was good, the room big enough and clean and tidy. The pool area wasn’t too crowded and everything was well kept. We appreciated the breakfast, lots to choose from. Nice to be able to squeeze your own juices. The hotel wasn’t very personal but still we have nothing to complain about. Good stay, thank you!

Visited with family as a special Christmas treat - facilities were fantastic. Overall wonderful time.
