Had one working elevator the other one was broken.Wait was very long sometimes

The staffs were unprofessional especially the front desk and I didn’t get the room that I reserved for, they said that the third party called and canceled my reservation but I confirm the hotel.com they said that they never called without my consent.

Excellent property

The hotel had an excellent staff, all were friendly and care for any needs we may have had. This hotel is across the street from the beach, and we were the only ones there. We had an excellent stay. Breakfast included hot omelets, or scrambled eggs, with bacon and sausage, biscuits and gravy, they also had the pancake maker, yogurt and fresh fruit on some days. I would stay there again any time.

Great location

This hotel is a very clean, quiet and safe holiday inn express. I’m sure the casino hotel down the street is also just as good as this location so just book whatever is cheaper if your in the area for work!

Property was unclean and check in was horrible upon arrival. Staff was not friendly at all.

I wanted to spend a few days at the beach for my birthday. The location was perfect since the beach is literally across the street from the hotel. There is also a great pool that has a fine beach view as well. The breakfast was good every day, and the property was always spotlessly clean, which is saying a lot for something that close to the beach. The people were friendly, especially the housekeeping staff. I will definitely be back.

Very clean and friendly staff

My husband loved that there was a comfortable smoking area. Only one elevator was working and the wait was a little long but we used the stairs going down and that certainly didn’t hurt either of us. Someone cleaned our room when we had the sign outside the door. My husband didn’t like that but nothing was bothered and it was nice to me. He’s just funny that way.

I wasnt told about the security fee until after i checked in and saw a different amount on my card. One of the elevators was out of order and the one that did work was slow and making awful noises. The picture of the pool is an exaggeration. It is very small and needs updating. The pool guy was there well past the time it opened and it still had flies in it when he left. Then about an hour later a guy starts cutting grass beside the pool and the clippings were flying all over me and my family. The water on the side of the pool smells like sewer water. Its very noisey due to the "beach access" is really the highway access. Snacks in the snack bar/market are way overpriced. Parking area very cramped.

I love staying here but this was the first time I saw several pieces of hair in the shower. I always Lysol and wipe down the room. Everything else was clean.

Not enjoyable.

The first 2 days was great but the 3rd day was terrible cleaning staff stole from my room and the manager tried to accommodate me with a 16 oz drink and chips and gave me points for what they did and i thank her for that but its in the handbook about stealing because i work in that field for 12 years. My stars went from 5 stars to 2 stars

Went to check in, we were a couple hours before then advertised 4 pm check in. Thought we might be able to use the pool for a couple of hours, store our bags….the parking lot of this place was *empty*. Literally not one other car. Initially, there was no one at the front desk. Eventually a woman came out, asked what I wanted and rather curtly told me I was “way too early” and could “come back after 4”. She then just stared at me and waited for me to leave. Having been properly scolded, I left. Went to get some lunch and were told the ocean water at the beach in the area was alleged to have some kind of flesh eating bacteria in it….locals told me they don’t swim in the ocean there. We just left and stayed somewhere else. Lost the whole $187. Vacation time is limited, I can get scolded at work for free. Customer service at this hotel comes last. Staff very angry. Must have it pretty hard. Do them a favor and stay somewhere else.

The lady working the front desk was so kinda and helpful. We arrived and hour before check in with our three small kids (3, 2, 10 months) and they wanted to go to the beach across the street. I went in to ask if we could park there and she let me check in early. When it was time to check out it was the same woman and she was so sweet again. The room was very spacious and able to fit us easily. I was surprised with how clean it was. We had a bit of trouble with our tv and someone came very quickly to fix it and he was very nice and friendly. It was easy for us to cross the street to the beach and let the kids play. I like there is a cross walk there so I felt safer. The breakfast in the morning was the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had. My kids enjoyed it and I liked the convenience of it. Over all we very much enjoyed our stay and will be staying here again.

Great location to beach and Harbor with ferry to ship island. Only issue we had was room booked on Expedia didn't match room we received. We booked a ocean view room and when we arrived at motel we received a partial view room with a much different room then Expedia shows. Digging into this, Expedia shows the ocean view room and features this but also shows the room with a partial view. I met with front desk on this and they said it was Expedia's fault and stated there was nothing they could do. Most staff was friendly and helpful though some were not. Overall for location was a great place to stay with family.

Such friendly staff! We are right across from the beach and we basically had it to ourselves.

The lady at the front desk was cool and the hotel overall was clean, in a safe area, and smelled wonderful. We enjoyed our stay. It was quiet too

The room air conditioning was so wonderful. These Mississippi summers are hot.

the staff was friendly, but the tv did not work, plugs did not work, the frig was wobbly and the hotel did not honor the Expedia price. They charged an extra $400.00 dollars to the stay even though we prepaid. We brought it to the clerk's attention, and she promised to remove it, but they never did.

Great hotel in an amazing location. Super let down and disappointed at the breakfast had maybe 2 options at the time, stayed at another holiday inn express the previous night and the breakfast was so much better.

Fantastic beachfront hotel. The rooms are terrific, modern, clean, super comfortable and have great views. The staff are delightful. Breakfast is great and parking is plentiful.

Love the staff, location and rooms… Fairly priced as well
