This is my first time in Mexico. I’m a female solo traveler and booked this hotel sight unseen. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. My room had a beautiful balcony overlooking the street which closes at 5 pm to become a vendor market. The pool was relaxing and everything was very clean. Highly recommend!

We stayed at the Casablanca Hotel for a month. The hotel was very clean and very well maintained. The pool was very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed most afternoons at the pool. The hotel is located where there is a Mexican market every night and we enjoyed watching from our balcony. There is noise from the market activity until about 10:00 PM, however there is a nightclub directly next to the hotel that is only open on Wednesday night. They play extremely loud horrible music until 3:00 AM making Wednesday night’s impossible to sleep. Everything else about the hotel was excellent. The staff was very helpful and very nice. Highest appreciation for their concern and service!

Staff was nice. Pool was comfortably cool. Bed/bedding were comfortable. Kitchen had a refrigerator (don't forget to plug it in! It's unplugged when you arrive), toaster (didn't work), tiny 2 burner plate, coffee pot - no microwave. Shower temp was lukewarm at best. Nighttime noise was pretty high, especially incredibly loud live music on Wednesday night which kept me up til 2am. The street in front of the hotel closes to car traffic every day 5-10pm (ish?) for a tourist market, so when I ordered a grocery delivery for 8pm my first day... it didn't go well. (No Uber Eats or Didi Food here, btw.) If you like tourist/beachy shops, seafood, small beach with boats, watching fishermen - this is a great location. Bring sandals - the sand will literally burn your feet.

Have limited amount of sanitary supplies. Literally 1 roll of toilet paper for 5 people?! Unacceptable knowing that people have bowel movement at least 2 a day. Plus toilet paper was not the best so it goes by fast. Had to go ask for more and the man seamed bother that I was asking. So there’s room to improve

The staff are wonderful, from the maids and all the front desk guys....they always make my stay feel welcome.

Clean. Felt safe. Good pricing. Noisy and bright area at night during holiday time. Would benefit from blackout blinds. Located away from main tourism areas; but easy to get cab and lots of options for day passed at beach clubs with nicer amenities.

Do not stay in this hotel! The staff is very rude and the infrastructure is very old. The internet is not working at all. Everytime I complained, I got another excuse. Strangely the Internet at the Reception Desk worked very well, when the staff was watching movies on the desk top computer. There is a bar/dance club 300 meter away that plays very very load music till 3:30 am every night, it is not possible to sleep before they stop the music!

This hotel is the best value in Puerto Escondido. Clean, well run, great maid service, and a refrigerator that keeps beverages ICE COLD. I liked a room with a balcony to watch all the activities below. It is a little loud but worth it! Internet not great but I used my TMobile account for all my internet needs. Telcell is great throughout Puerto.

Veryyy clean, The owner was extremely helpful and kind especially as a solo traveller, the woman who spoke good english called a taxi for me and the bus terminal to try to help me figure out a way to a further airport, then got me a taxi from someone she knew down the road to make sure I was safe and didnt get ripped off financially.

The accomodation was very basic. This would not qualify as a 3 star hotel by any means so I suggest Hotels.com consider revising the star. The air condition in my room leaked water all over, called the attention of the hotel staff to it and they didnt do anything about it

The property is basic and it is located in a noisy area. The staff was friendly. I got a room with a balcony and view. The shower is like a sprinkler.
Overall it’s a budget place jn a good location.

A mixed bag: Very clean, super location but can be loud if not having an indoor facing room. Some staff not very friendly but overall ok. Our room had very little space to deposit clothing etc.Price is realistic and fair. Pool looked well cared for and property had put a fridge in our room...very helpful. Major downside: WIFI coverage left a lot to be desired.

Hubo un grupo de personas en la alberca a muy altas horas de la noche, tomando bebidas alcoholicas y no dejaron descansar a los huéspedes por el ruido, y la administración no hizo nada al respecto.

El hotel esta en una ubicacion super centrica, cerca de la playa, a unos cuantos pasos encuentras gran variedad de tiendas y restaurantes, esto fue lo que mas me gusto. El cuarto esta bien, tiene aire acondicionado y mini fridge, lo unico que no me gusto fue el baño, se concentra demasiado el calor y esta super viejo todo, de ahi en mas todo muy bien, incluyendo el servicio e instalaciones.

Everything was bad. Over priced. Very bad internet, tiny bad bed. I didn't had the room I paid for. Paid more by hotels.com than their regular price. Bad and unsafe doors and windows, like living directly on the street. Could not sleep until 2:30 in the morning, HYPER NOISY party just in front. On all the photos you see, just one representing the real room I had. I suspect many fake review. Nothing related to 8/10 score. So many other hotels in the area, almost impossible you will find worst.
