Great location to access restaurants, shops, salt beds (Hippobus tour) & the chateau (directly opposite the hotel).
Good access along pedestrian/ cycle path to the nearest beach (Plage des Sableaux)- very much a cycle friendly area.
Pool and terrace area is clean and there is a small bar area- it is a welcome addition to the central courtyard area- rooms look out onto the pool. The pool is enclosed by glass 'fencing' and only accessed via 'kid lock' gates.
Room was a little basic but it was clean and comfortable.

The location, although awkward for a car is very central. The pool and poolside area is excellent. Beds comfortable. Nice staff.
Room a bit shabby - especially the large musty closet. Toilet seat wonky.

Booked and paid in advance for 2 nights but only stayed for one. Obvious why you have to pay in advance, as we would not have paid the full amount after the experience

The hotel was central
The hotel, because it was winter was only running at minimum interest.
The hotel was just passable, the room was tiny and the duvet boiling hot.
It's time for the owners to invest some money and redecorate.

Location of property. Swimming pool area.
More a higher end hostel than hotel. Staff didn’t speak English/ hardly any staff around. seemed small family run business. Basic bathroom and bedroom.

Great location opposite Chateau, restaurants and bars all around. Swimming pool (was out of season for us though). Friendly host
Bathroom needed renovating. Shower erected at wrong angle and didn’t drain well.

It was 30 degrees so the pool was essential!
Nothing-except ….the description could have been honest abs mention the scaffolding surrounding the chateau!

it was all charming and rather nicer than I was expecting
There was a street light outside our bedroom window (room 9) and because the curtains were quite stiff, I couldn't block the light. Nobody's fault probably - but that's the only negative really.

Excellent breakfast, amazing home made salty caramel French style pancake, fruit salad, eggs.
The swimming pool is nice to relax after a bicycle ride through the island.
Difficult to reach by car due to the city configuration. Free parking close to the hostel is cool

paid for a room facing the pool ,was given one facing a back street ,and had to pay top price .the staff did not want to know . could not get back in at 9.00 pm ,had to wait for another guest to let us in . will never use again ,and i suggest you do the same .

Location
The staff were rude and unhelpful and the room that we had booked and paid for in June had been let to someone else! We were offered no explanation whatsoever and when questioned the staff just raised their hands and told us they didn’t speak any English. We were not offered any discount for the fact that our poolside courtyard room was in fact in the back of beyond with a view of a wall! Also barely larger than your average wardrobe.
I would not recommend this place to any brits travelling to this region, it would appear however that if you are from that area you will love it! 0/10
