For the most part, this hotel was pretty good. The breakfast was super and I received great service from two of the three staff I interacted with. Those two staff really did go out of their way to make sure the stay was good. I stayed in a couple different rooms (this was a basecamp for an extended hiking tour) and one of the rooms had a sewer smell coming from the bathroom. The décor in the hotel is all quite old, but the rooms are comfortable. It is a little out of town, but there is a bus stop directly in front of the hotel. The wifi there was stellar.

The staff is great. Super helpful and kind. It is very clean. Food is good. Good location and excellent quality price ratio. The downside is that it can be noisy on the main road and the rooms towels bathrooms are a little dated. Overall very good and i definitely recommend it

Great breakfast. Family run property with accommodating and friendly management. Large room. Good location if you have a car, but bus is also nearby. Breathtaking views from property and all around area with activities close by. We would definitely return. Great value for price.

Very clean hotel. Furnishings a little dates but comfortable and the staff was very gracious to us.

Lovely service and we even got breakfast package leaving early before it started serving. Breakfast is great and the staff is helpful. The hotel is a bit worn down and the bed is too soft for my liking but it is clean and great value for money. The town centre is quite a walk but no problems if you had a car like we had. There is a few deer that come up to the "garden" of the hotel that was each days excitement.

The room was comfortable and had a great balcony with a view of the mountains. The front patio is nice for lounging. And the staff are super friendly and helpful! The room is a bit dated, in a fun and quirky way, but it had kind of a funny/bad smell that didn't go away even after we left the windows open.

Very nice hotel with spacious, comfortable, clean room. Our room overlooked the main road and I was a bit worried about the noise . However, its very quiet in the night and I got a good night's sleep. This is a family run business and the owners are welcoming and super helpful. Breakfast was good both days with a wide selection. Although the hotel is about a mile away from the main town centre, there is a bus stop right outside the hotel which will take you to the centre in 5-10 minutes. Bus service is quite frequent (every 15 minutes or so). The distance from the town centre is more than made up for by the gorgeous views. The only slight niggle we had was the lack of restaurants in the immediate vicinity of the hotel that open before 7 PM. However, if you take the bus to the centre there are plenty of restaurants to choose from there .

I was concerned that our room faced the street, but noise was not a problem at night, since the trucks are off the highway. The breakfast was awesome, staff friendly, and good parking.

1) When booking it said "no cancellation" possible once booked. This should have been a red flag. 2) Upon arrival I got the room key AND the TV remote. The room is not secure enough for the remote but it is for my belongings?! 3) WiFi does not work in the rooms, only lobby! 4) Breakfast is not replenished. If someone arrives at 7:30 and eats all the meat/cheese and you get there at 8, none for you! 5) Walls are very thin. Could hear the room next to me. 6) Curtains let in street light 7) Rooms near the road have minimal sound insulation from traffic. 8) The front desk is not always attended and there is no bell to ring for attention. 9) The bed was squeaky. 10) Shower is curtained off area of tiles. No bath.

Loved the location of this quaint hotel on highway to Cortina. The view from the room was really great and the room was a good size and had everything we needed. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good. Just a short drive to downtown Cortina about 5 minutes. Good value for the money.
