OH MY GOODNESS it was awesome! Beautiful Hotel, pretty room, immaculate and wonderful Happy Hour and activities. We loved it and the Front desk staff are so cheerful and friendly!

The room was small but clean with a nice view and comfortable bed. Staff were helpful and friendly, building is historic and lovely in downtown Petaluma, so convenient. The coffee set up with the $3.00 bottle of water charge seemed to be what greeted me as I entered the room which I did not appreciate. Ice needs to be asked for at the reception desk. They do offer complimentary coffee in the lobby next to a warm and inviting big fireplace.

Very nice location in Petaluma finding the hotel was a little difficult. It does not have a big sign that says it’s the hotel. Parking is an issue, but I was lucky enough to find a spot. The room was a little small and the queen bed felt more like a full sized bed. I did book another night this coming January only because it is so convenient to walk to the Mystic theater for the show. But other than the room being small, it was a nice place.

We always enjoy our stay here. It’s a great little vintage hotel. However, the person at the front desk when we checked in was not very pleasant. They may have just been having a hard day, but it was hard to ask them any questions or get help from them without feeling like we were inconveniencing them. In any case, the people at the bar who worked for the restaurant “Shucked” were great, and the addition of Costeaux Bakery to the place is awesome!

The hotel is beautiful, and although rooms are cramped they are cute. Note: THERE IS NO PARKING AT THE HOTEL!! And all the nearby parking is 2-hour, so you literally have to move your car every 2 hours!! No thanks. Our room was near the elevator and we could hear it all night. I kid you not, we literally looked out the window to see if there were fireworks or thunderstorms outside until we realized it was the elevator making all that noise. The hotel is super cute for a girls night out, or to meet for drinks. If you’re looking for comfort and space and convenience this is NOT your spot.

Love the charm of this hotel and so convenient to our kids home just 6 blocks away. We will be back. Room is a little small and hard to manage our multiple suitcases. The vibe is great. Especially the inner courtyard at the entrance of the hotel… next time perfect place to slow down and enjoy a cocktail or glass of wine.

Very nice hotel, historic. The rooms, though are not historic at all, very plain. Rooms were clean and otherwise nice.

This is at best a 2 star hotel. The bathroom was dirty and very small and the whole hotel felt dirty and old and seemed like it could use a power washing inside and out.

Stayed for two nights and couldn’t be happier! The hotel bar staff are absolutely amazing and will make you great drinks I promise. The cool older vibe of the hotel was exactly what it looks like in the pictures. Nice place to stay right in the heart of downtown in walking distance to everything. I’ll be back!

Convenient location to great shopping and food, building had nice charm. The room was outdated, noisy surroundings, bathroom exhaust not working, kitchen restaurant smell throughout corridor most of the time.

A great hotel with a great location. Will definitely stay again. It lost a star because parking is not convenient, but we made it work.

My husband and I have stayed at Hotel Petaluma several times over the last 5 years and we have enjoyed our stays. Unfortunately the manager placed us in the smallest room next to the elevator and we were told that he chose this because we booked through a third party.
The rest of the staff were friendly, but he was unwelcoming and controlling of his staff.
