I like how close the beach is. Hotel is nice and clean plus everyone is friendly. 10/10

The hotel is well maintained. Very good value for money. The hotel staff (reception, restaurant, cleaning) were all accommodating. Special mention to Laura at the reception who was very friendly and helpful. Location a couple of blocks from the beach.

The sink basin had good temperature hot water. The showers did not have hot water. It was still a cold shower. (Note that my hotel in Porto galinhas had hotter water). This was the same in both rooms 402 and 803 during my stay with respect to the shower. Maybe this is related to the location of the rooms. Staff service was excellent both at reception and restaurant. Rooms were clean. Well equipped. Comfortable.

Just a few hours but it was great

This place was great. Right in the heart of Pinheiros. I could hear live music all around me. Great bars and restaurants walking distance. Only once did I feel unsafe, but it had nothing to do with the property, just some drunk loud people in the street while I was waiting for an uber. I just waited behind the huge gates where the security guard could see me. Great views! The AC is very cold! Would absolutely stay here again.

Clean and quiet hotel, self parking and also valet. Lots of dinning option nearby.

The Hotel is average in many ways. Room was clean and ok. The walls are so thin so you hear people talk in the corridor. Bang in doors at 6 am. The gym is very dirty off old food and stuff on the floor. Machines etc are not wiped off. Breakfast ok but very dirty floors and seats. The staff was very nice and friendly!

Everything was great.

This is the second time I have stayed in a nicer hotel specially for the pool, to find the pool closed for a day. What bothers me is they say nothing, no discount offer, no apology, you just arrive to find you can’t enter the pool. A nice hotel would offer something.

My first night i was downgrade to handicap room my was change after.

Great hotel, new bedrooms and friendly staff. Expect for the from desk person who checked me in, she didn’t gave me any instructions about the hotel and was a little rude during the check in. Also, my safe wasn’t working, I called on the first night and they promised to send someone to fix that, but it never happened. It wasn’t a big deal for me. The rest of my staying was awesome, the breakfast is great, the staff who work on the breakfast are so friendly and they are always ready to help, especially the tapioca guy, he is awesome and make great tapiocas and omelettes! Overall it is a great hotel, great location and comfortable rooms. I probably will stay there again in the future!

Easy check-in, free parking, good breakfast

Hotel was perfect for 1-night stop after flying for 2 days. A couple things to consider: there was not iron available in the room (even the ironing board was there) and there was not hot water the following morning when taking a shower at 5 am.

A nice property a couple of blocks from the beach. Restaurants and Açaí shops closeby as well as some food carts in a nearby plaza in the evenings. Hotel staff were great, and the food at the hotel restaurant surpassed my expectations. Very good!

Every time I come to Recife to visit my family I choose to stay at Bugan, the location is perfect, close to the airport, malls, restaurants, Boa Viagem Beach. The staff is very kind, and attentive to details, and everything was perfect.

I liked the value and the breakfast. I didn’t like that the door’s deadbolt lock was broken, and the staff was notified twice, but didn’t fix it or offer us another room.

It is ok. The surrounding area not safe.

Staff do not speak any English and communication with staff is difficult. The restaurant took forever to prepare food and since there are not many options around, the restaurant is an important service. I ordered a vegetable risotto and got a plate of cooked peppers with no rice! It took 90 minutes to arrive and when it did, it was a mess! They also charge 13 Reais (about C$5) for ice! I was never before charged for ice.
