I loved this hotel! In my search to stay in Denver, it came down to the Crawford and the Oxford Hotel. I chose the Crawford due to a late arrival where I would be getting off the train at Union Station anyway.
The amenities were great, we received a free bottle of wine upon arrival and at check-in the front desk employee offered us water or bourbon and come to find out, water (flat or sparkling) was unlimited and complimentary the entire stay. Another fantastic amenity was that they offer free Lyft rides within a 2 mile radius. I have no doubt this saved us at LEAST $100. We used it multiple times per day and we could even call the front desk from our location to order it back to the hotel!
The ambiance was also wonderful. I love how much character there was in the hotel lobby and rooms. Our room had a slight view and next stay I will upgrade to the better view. There were no drawers in the room which didn't bother me but may be a preference.
The only negatives were that they do not offer a late checkout and when we called for an iron and extra toilet paper (we were out) it took over an hour to receive and I had to call the front desk back again.
Union station is already a Denver landmark and it did not disappoint in its architecture, amenities and vibe. Pigtrain coffee kept us going in the morning and the Cooper Lounge helped us wind down. The ambience of Union Station and the Crawford give a throwback feel to the prohibition era which I love! Will stay again.

Right in the train station in the heart of the LoDo district. We didn't bother to rent a car. Took the train from the airport, walked everywhere (lots of restaurants nearby). Left on a train to continue our trip.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Crawford Hotel. Staff was amazing and so helpful, facility is beautiful and the room, though small, was well appointed and very clean. I loved it and will be back! Airport train comes right to the hotel, shuttle to Red Rocks leaves from in front of hotel is well in case you have a concert at Red Rocks to attend, super convenient!

Great room in an iconic location. Would have given an excellent review, but was unable to get QR code to work for room service. Also the room did not have any cups for coffee. Overall room looked great.

The people at the front desk was untrained and not aware of the benefits that gold members at hotels.com have.
When I explained to them that it’s a free upgrade of possible, then he said “oh yes , but unfortunately we are fully booked and it’s not possible” . And then I have to show him that that was a big lie. I could book many rooms online and it was for sure possible to upgrade me. After arguing about that , it was finally possible . But it’s not a great experience to start your stay at the hotel like that. I was very disappointed and the staff didn’t even say sorry for the mistake. The hotel is nice and fun layout. But the staff I met and the service from them is terrible. Not worth the money.
Maybe it’s okay that the staff is not trained good enough , but it’s for sure not okay to lie to your guests! That is below every standard !
The room they gave me was a loft it’s a cool room , but very bad design and I see it as a safety issue, that when the bathroom door is closed, then you can’t exit the room. A closed bathroom door is blocking for the frontdoor to open! It’s very bad. I can’t believe that this can pass a fire inspection. I mean in case of an emergency , and the bathroom door is closed. Then the front door is blocked by the handle of the bathroom door.

Beautiful hotel, they did such an amazing job of preserving the integrity of the original architecture. Thoughtful details throughout. The staff was great, very friendly and courteous. I would definitely stay here next time I’m in Denver!

The hotel desk staff is exemplary. They are incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. The hotel is just finishing beautiful renovations. The rooms have at least 12’ ceilings and floor to ceiling windows. Very convenient to restaurants and train with its location right in Union Station. First time staying at The Crawford but definitely won’t be the last.

Our stay at The Crawford was one of the best-ever hotel experiences. From the complimentary glass of whiskey (or wine) at check in, to the comp Lyft rides, to the pleasantness and helpfulness of the staff, it was well-beyond 5 stars. Oh, and the room and property inside Union Station were beautiful. Would definitely stay again.

The room was amazing. It was one if the newly renovated rooms. Exceeded my expectations. Online pictures don't do it any justice. Staff was amazing and accommodating.

This was our second time at The Crawford, the first was a happy mishap after missing the flight home from our honeymoon. The second a planned stay before catching a flight home from a stay in Breckenridge with our daughter. If you are flying to or from Denver its a 30 minute train trip landing you straight on the doorsteps of the hotel which makes for an incredibly easy flight. There is a bar serving small plates in the lobby with a comforting ambiance. All doors and elevators require your room key which is cumbersome but makes you feel incredibly safe.
Both rooms were incredibly gorgeous and well-kept. I enjoy the eclectic and vintage atmosphere. I hope the renovations actively taking place within the lobby dont take away from the charm and character.
It is certainly on the pricier end but provides ample amenities and its location makes it very walkable to other restaurants.
Have i mentioned how gorgeous the building is!?
It remains one of my favorite places to stay away from home.

Liked the location. Room was very small. Furniture was uncomfortable. Greatly overpriced. Nothing luxurious about the property. Ok from an historical perspective. Gracie at the front desk was great.
