We continue to go back to Falkensteiner as quality and service have continued and are maintained well. For us, it is one of the top hotels for 5 star experience in Jesolo

When you book a 5* hotel, you expect 5* service and quality. And then when at check-in you learn you get an upgrade, you're surely in for a treat!
Sadly, not quite. When you book a room with 3 occupants, you expect 3 sets of towels (not 2) to be provided. Or that soap dispensers are filled. Or toilet seats not broken. That a sofa bed is made with a mattress protector. And that when you raise an issue with turn down service, they do act on it. Yes, on check-out there was a gesture of goodwill but only after I was berated that I should have brought it to their attention and obviously not other staff.
Yet with a 5* property, you expect the room to have been checked before it's handed to a customer. I don't come to complain and demand, I come to expect things to be right.
What really took the biscuit though: the team left a nice box of treats with a personal note. Looked nice and a great gesture; something you pack to take home and enjoy later while you think back to the time you had at the hotel. Yes, it made me think back: stale biscuits and chocolate that was past it's sell by date. Funny how the treats matched the experience...
If I have the choice between the room I booked and everything as 5* as it should be, or an upgrade to less than 5* quality, please: just the room I booked. It's not 5* if I have to tell you what 5* is.

Third time we go, love it, great property, well situated, graet for familes.

I was not told that the first three rows of umbrellas on the beach are reserved for those who rent suites. So if you rent a regular room, even an upgraded one, the fourth!!!! row of umbrellas is as close as you can get to the sea. This is ridiculous and insulting. Shame on you!

We came here to relax and wow did we ever. We prolonged our stay to enjoy the spa and all the surroundings. Best ever.

Nice modern hotel - it was our second time and we were impressed with the new wing and improved layout. The pool area is perfect for kids with enough space.
We missed the Piano in the dining area they had last time , no piano any more :(
The lady serving us in the bar area seemed very stressed / in experienced.... not what we would expect in a 5 star hotel (not a complaint but we recommend hiring people with prior experience)

Restaurant, spa, and pool staff are great. Certain members of reception are somewhat curt. Bikes are amazing and fun to ride into town. Breakfast is amazing and a lot of variety. Pool is beautiful!

Great location, building perhaps a little too big --》spoils the view, e.g. panorama sauna

Awful experience- Hotel has a huge construction site! They refused to move my room, refused!!! we called the manager who asked not to be disturbed! I shorted my trip- I couldnt sleep, within an hour 15 construction trucks drove under my window- and dont bother booking a view - I did and ended up looking at another building-

I decided to take a couple of days away from London and be close to the beach. This hotel was ideally placed in front of the beach and I got a room on a side of the hotel.
The location is absolutely amazing, staff very friendly and a great offer of food at the restaurant.
The room was clean and cosy, however the mattress had a dip and the bedding was of synthetic material therefore my night sleep wasn't so comfortable as I was hoping. The beautiful balcony was spacious but it opened up to a construction site therefore the view in this occasion wasn't that pleasant.
The Spa offers great treatments however a bit pricey even in low season. I enjoyed the Sauna, Steam Room, and cold showers followed by some time in the relaxation area.... I found a bit strange that there was no changing facilities and only one toilet in the pool area. One day I went for a walk along the beach and went back straight to the swimming pool area for a swim and I had my gear on me and a change but still, having only one toilet in the whole spa area seems a bit extreme.
Everything else was excellent!!!

Great Hotel. Excellent, passiobatr and dedicated staff. Cleaning staff were wonderful .For me a dedicated and genuinely caring lady originally from the Cameroon West side who had simply good things to say about her life, family and work. Thank you and happy birthday!!The food was excellent especially as we were half board and that can sometimes be less good quality. The beach off season is great and quiet for me. Just right. To get to Venice main is easily done and quite a lovely experience but you do need to allow 90 minutes door to St Marco centre. walk to main road from hotel (2 minutes). Buy bus ticket from Tobacconist right near. Can get a ticket that includes the boat I think. Get ACTV Urbano 2 bus running every 20-30 minutes to the Jesolo [pro Yes-Olo] bus station. Get ACTV bus number 4 or 5 to Port Sabbini. Get ACTV 15 vaporetto (Venice ferry boat) direct to town or the 14 to St Marco via Lido la Venice.... if you like to see more.. the 14... got the 15 back and was under 30 minutes... can get a day ticket so can go where you want on the vaporettos or a multiday.. .all well worth it. They are strict for tickets and I saw them checking tickets and issuing fines on the spot. Peggy Guggenheim museum was just great. Thank you Peggy and team.

We celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary over 3 nights at this 5 star luxury hotel. Outside of a couple of hiccups, the service was excellent. The staff was accommodating, professional and multilingual. The Falkensteiner is part of a successful chain of family owned luxury hotels and spas with a rich heritage.
More than likely we will return next year for another weekend getaway.

From my point of view, there's absolutely nothing to point out as downside.

I would easily recommend this hotel to others. The hotel is beautifully designed, clean and with excellent facilities. The staff are all very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We had particularly good service from Mehir on arrival, Sieglinde and Patrick on reception, and Francesca and Elisana in the restaurant. The pool, sauna and gym are well appointed and you as the hotel is located directly on the beach, you are able to walk from the pool area on to the beach where you are provided wth sun loungers and umbrellas and beach towels. The food in the restaurant is very good and the selection in the buffet is plentiful and varied. We had a lovely view of the beach/sea from our balcony and occasionally we would relax on the balcony of the spa which had an even better view of the beach & sea. My family and I had a wonderful stay here.

Beautiful hotel in beachfront location with super pool & spa, fantastic for a summer break. Lovely decor & relaxing atmosphere.
2.5
Well, it's a genuine 5-star hotel, very new and well-equipped, especially in the sauna/spa/pool department. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and families are very welcome. Took the bed and breakfast option, but half board would have been better as we never wanted to leave the hotel restaurant. Liked the ability to reserve pairs of sunbeds for the whole day on the beach, which is right over the boardwalk from the hotel. It's a German chain so mainly German clientele. No major inconvenience there, though the room service menu was just in Italian and German. For English tastes the lack of any evening entertainment was a little strange, but the kids club was ideal for our 7-year-old. Overall nothing to fault and we would recommend it as a significant step up from other Lido hotels.
