Ainhoa, the proprietress, greeted us warmly upon our arrival, and made sure we were comfortable using the keys to unlock the exterior gate, entry way, and our room. She even lent us a prepaid card for the local busses so we could get around easily. The patio where breakfast is served each morning is surrounded by plants. The room was air conditioned, and very comfortable. There are only 6 rooms in this boutique hotel.
Breakfast was prepared for us each morning at our reserved time. Homemade jams and jellies, and fresh-squeezed orange juice.
Located in the old quarter, it was an easy walk to the Silk Market shopping district, and Plaza Nueva, where the local busses and taxis are located. Many interesting restaurants are located nearby. We ate at “El Agua” for lunch one day, and it was delicious. It was about a 30 minute walk up to the Alhambra, or you can take a local bus.
Ainhoa recommended several local walks, and they did not disappoint.
We enjoyed our 2-night stay and would love to stay again in the future! Highly recommend it!

Fabulous stay for a few nights. Tony was a very kind and welcoming host and made us feel at home straight away. A must stay place when in Granada.

Super nice and cosy place in the middle of the old district. Close to walk to town and for us to walk to Alhambra. Very helpful staff that even went beyond to make sure they found some vegan options for the breakfast (which was cooked just for us). Highly appreciated ❤️
Nice little inner yard that you can relax in. And good warm shower (we were there in March).
The rooms aren't that sound isolated but the others guests didn't make a lot of sound after ten so it didn't bother us.

The property was beautiful.

Great location and really friendly staff. The included breakfast is nice, while being quite small.
The hotel and area is very quiet, perfect to get a good night's rest.
The view of the Alhambra is limited, but not really necessary as there are plenty of opportunities to have tea/coffe/drinks/food while enjoying the views all around the albaicin.

Staff went above and beyond to be helpful and welcoming. The property is so well situated and we would definitely return.

cute guesthouse in the old town. There’s an attic in our room with a bedish thing. one of us slept on it the first night, and they made that “bed” for us the second night and ended up charging extra “bed”. It would be fine, but no one had told us before hand.

lovely and friendly staff, resident dog who is super friendly, basic breakfast but tasty - would have liked eggs to be included in the breakfast.
charming little B&B

Usually I stay at larger hotels. I was so pleased with everything at Posada, particularly its staff and the quality of their recommendations for entertainment and meals. Amazing.

Boutique hotel: good personal service provided by the people running it. It's down a small alley with no car access, but just a short walk from a taxi-accessible street. The only problem was that on arrival, the taxi driver had no idea where the hotel address was. The web site might usefully include instructions (in Spanish) to cater for this difficulty.

Posada de Quijada is the absolute best! Ainhoa, Julia, Carmen and Allen were wonderful! This place is a gem of an oasis. Close to Plaza Nueva, Alhambra, Albaicín, Sacromonte, everything. Definitely coming back!

Beautiful little guest house . Loved the breakfast.
Just make sure you have good trainers for the cobbled streets and hills

A very hospitable and welcoming hotel. A good location and convenient for all tourist centres.

Posada Quijada is a lovely, small Bed & Breakfast in a great location. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is really good and different each day. They will organize activities if you need and use a very good taxi firm for trip to the airport (I would not recommend hiring a car). The room we had was spacious by European B&B standards, with a good bathroom and shower. There's no TV and the wifi can be a little slow but you should be too busy and tired for it to be a problem. The only area that could be improved are the door locks, which take a little getting use to. The location is awesome - right in the heart of the Albaicin (old quarter), close to the Alhambra and great restaurants and tapas bars. However, you need to like walking and should wear comfortable shoes. The cobbled steep streets will provide a great workout! I highly recommend the Posada Quijada.

You would never guess what lay behind the wall. It was a beautiful patio where breakfast was served each day. The food was excellent. The room spotlessly clean. My friend and I had the to top rooms which meant we were able to share a delightful private patio with views of the Alhambra. Each room was individually designed. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property to anyone.

Posada de Quijada is the perfect place to stay when visiting magical Granada.
Inma, Ainoa and Vicky were outstanding hostesses.
The room was super clean, the bed quite comfortable and the patio simply idilic.

Very simple but comfortable accommodation. Well located in Albayzin neighbourhood on quiet Calle but not too far from main streets and restaurants. Very welcoming staff. Nice front terrace to sit and relax or have a drink.

Lovely Hotel in Great quiet location.
Staff on day one and day three were friendly and attentive.
Good sized room and lovely terrace for drinks and food if required.
Only issue is the parking. Permit required from the hotel to access the roads and finding the garage to park in is very tricky.

Very friendly, good location and great breakfast. Hotel full of character.

A fantastic little hotel in the Albaicin Quarter of Granada. Friendly welcome and service throughout our stay. It is in an excellent location for exploring Granada on foot, and especially good for visiting the Alhambra.

Welcoming and personalized service. The owner’s recommendations for what to do, see, and where to eat were excellent. We felt like we were staying with long-time friends.

The owner is a very good hostess. She has two employees that were also very good.
The weather was cold but the rooms were warm when we arrived. She had umbrellas for us to use. A very spacious bathroom. A VERY good breakfast. I would love to stay there again, many days!
Walking to and from it was unique - such small and twisty streets - fun to experience.

Posada de Quijada is absolutely fantastic. The place itself is quaint and serene, although it's in the middle of a bustling area. The room is clean and wonderfully decorated with a beautiful balcony and a lovely terrace. The hosts, in particular went way above and beyond. I was traveling alone, and unfortunately got some food poisoning. The hosts brought food and medicine to my room and checked on me regularly. I couldn't have asked for more care from them.

This delightful guest house is ideally located in the Albaicin, the most interesting part of Grenada to stay in. Rooms, though small, are charmingly decorated in a Spanish Country style. Leyre and Julia are great hostesses/managers, always willing to provide information about the city, restaurants, attractions or tours you might want to take.
They provide a breakfast that includes tostadas, homemade tomato jam and other preserves, fresh orange juice, cured ham and sausage and selected cheeses, as well as coffee, tea or herbal teas. Lunch and dinner are also available on request. We had dinner there one night, served on the patio and it was simple but delicious.
I felt as if I was staying at a friend's house, rather than in a hotel.

This Posada has 6 apartments and a great area outside the kitchen to sit and where breakfast was served. The breakfast was simple but tasty. Our apartment was just a bedroom and bathroom. There is no sitting area but it is spacious enough and well apppointed. It was a very comfortable stay. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. It is situated on a narrow street so no car access but we able to get a taxi to and from and be dropped at the nearest street corner. It was an easy walk and quiet. The apartments are close to most of the attractions with some uphill walking which is expected in Granada.

A real find. The location is excellent, convenient yet quiet. The staff are friendly and charming. I would strongly recommend it.
The area is a quaint maze of narrow roads and alleyways with right-angle bends. Satnavs are worse than utterly useless. At one point I was directed down a road which was a metre wide! The hotel kindly sends out detailed instructions covering the only route to the parking garage. Unfortunately for me this was identified as spam by my ISP and I only found the email after arriving. I phoned the hotel after driving around the maze and they immediately came over and guided me to the garage. The next people to arrive after us had the same problem.

Delightful hotel, and the staff could not be more helpful. We were provided an overview of Granada when we arrived, which was incredibly helpful. It was my birthday whilst we were there, and they surprised me with wine in my room, and they also helped my boyfriend arranged a cake, and book a fantastic restaurant before we had arrived.
The room was beautifully done, incredibly clean, and we shared a terrace where you could see part of the Alhambra. The location is ideal, with restaurants, and squares close by.
We had a slight issue with the locks to the front gate and the building. But once we had figured it out, all was fine.
