Fantastic stay complete with wildlife, good weather and spectacular sunsets. Room very comfortable. Only dissapointment was that the restaurant was closed in the evenings (food in the bistro was very good, but more limited menu and not the same ambiance as lakeside restaurant)

Lake Crackenback Resort is amazingly beautiful. I love this place. Each time I’ve stayed the accomodation has been modern, clean, comfortable, and well equipped. All rooms have great views. Nature is at your doorstep. It’s pricey but worth it!

Despite the wet weather, we had a great time at the resort. Lots of walks and animals to see. Breakfast included was ok. No housekeeping during the stay which was odd.

Beautiful location; chalet itself nice but no wifi; no clothes hangers; no batteries in aircon remotes; tennis courts in dangerous disrepair- ran into falling, rusted metal surrounding/enclosure; clearly no maintenance in a very long time; breakfast was always cold (ie the ‘hot’ food; shrivelled mushrooms; cold ‘toast’; cold roasted tomatoes; dinner really average despite cost; oysters not fresh - stuck to shell.). If l were an owner, I’d be worried about the quality of services offered by resort. I wouldn’t return.

Unfortunately all the properties are different therefore the receptionist was not able to give us all the relevant information about our accommodation

Wonderful place near ski tube. We had a huge 2 bedroom Chalet with heaps of room and space and comfy beds.
Breakfast could be improved.

New build accomodation lacking a bit of character and more compact than what is shown in photos. Site facilities great and very handy to ski tube.

Good stay overall. On the expensive side. Chalet was super clean except lots of trash under the sofa (2 bottles and an apple). The chalet did not have any privacy or views, had to keep all curtains closed. Some of the resort equipment needs maintenance, e.g. arrows and trampoline. Breakfast was ok, no revelation.

Easy check in, easy to find chalet. Excellent facilities. Food options slightly overpriced. A little more lighting would have been appreciated. Security was a little concerning (maybe just because we are city folk!)

A beautiful resort with lovely scenery, walks and activities. The main restaurant isn't open in summer and the studio accommodation we stayed in was modern and fully equipped, but very hot due to the western sun.

There is so much to do and see. Set in a stunning location, fantastic amenities and superb service. Lake Crackenback is a must stay destination!

We have wanted to go to Lake Crackenback for a while. It exceeded all our expectations. Accommodation was very comfortable, quiet and relaxing. Staff were very helpful. Amenities were good. Had an excellent meal in the Cuisine restaurant. Lots of lovely walks and bike rides. We did the Thredbo to Lake Crackenback mountain bike track. It was a bit more demanding than I expected (we are in our 60's) and we had to concentrate the whole time on the track and didn't dare look up to take in the views. In spite of that we had a great week.

There was no air conditioning in the studio room and no ceiling fans in the living area only where the bed was. The heater randomly came on for no reason two time on a already hot day which did eventually stop. The room was different to the photos on the internet of the studio type of room. I don't feel the the room was worth the price that I paid for it.

We had a lovely relaxing time. There is so much to do if you would like but we were happy to just relax in our chalet. All the staff were cheerful and helpful. Can't wait to go back.

Great ambience & located just before the national park toll gate. Our studio unit was modern, clean & quite spacious. Bed & pillows were comfy. However, no aircon in the midst of heatwave conditions made sleeping a challenge. Quality toiletries but no shower gel

We loved every minute of our stay! The location was perfect, so close to the Skitube and while the closest supermarket is in Jindabyne (15-20 mins away) they have a corner store and a ski hire shop on site. We were blown away by the layout of the resort, it’s set up like a little village so it’s very private, and is full of wildlife like deer, wombats and kangaroos. So tranquil and peaceful, our stay wasn’t long enough and we can’t wait to come back. Resort staff are also so lovely and helpful - and the breakfast buffet was incredible 😍

I enjoyed my stay and the mountain bike tracks at this hotel. My only gripe. In summer; cotton blankets should be on the made beds, the thick winter quilts make for an uncomfortable nights sleep, as I don’t like using the AC when it can be avoided.

We loved the comfort and convenience of the chalets so close to the snow.

The Studio that we booked was attached to a chalet with car space. Roomy, comfortable, good heating with a choice of reverse cycle or gas fire. The kitchen was well equipped, and the bathroom had a spa bath. Also a deck with barbecue and views to the mountain dotted with snow and snow gums. Lovely.

Chalet was fabulous. Location was great! Had a lovely peaceful family Christmas getaway. The chalet had a studio attached but we did not see or hear them! Full kitchen and BBQ meant we had Christmas dinner with all the trimmings.
Free activities were fabulous and we had a great time on the Segways.
Breakfast was probably the lowlight. Not as wonderful as the accommodations or the view.
Staff were justified wonderful. Especially when mum broke her arm - they were very kind.
Will be back!

I decided to surprise the family and my partner for her birthday on a trip to the snow. I booked the Lake Crackenback Resort and how I was so pleased with the new accomodation space. We stayed in a very modern well appointed house with all the creature comforts and heated floors. All the amenties were like new and the gas fire was already lit and warmed for our arrival.
Both restaurants serve amazing cuisine and the car factor is off the radar.
Thank you and yes we will be back.
