My room didn't have HOT water, I asked the front desk many times and they still didn't address the issue. I took kind of cold showers a few times.

Comfortable accommodations and clean hotel. Friendly staff and extremely quiet rooms. Couldn’t hear any of the hustle and bustle outside of the hotel.

We dislike every thing about it, Construction is being done to it, Workers were loud, But worst of all they assigned a room that was already occupied ( Dirty ) I do not like to leave BAD reviews :( But our stay was pathetic The AIR CONDITIONER did not performed well at all .

The person at the check in desk isn’t friendly and lacks of knowledge about the hotel surrounding, he said there’s no Uber in the City and there is for sure. Also said there were no restaurants and there are. Other thing we didn’t like is that due to all the events carried by the hotel, you are never able to use the Pool ...

Check in process was disappointing. We arrived while a group was checking and while we waited in the waiting area, a staff member tried to check us in; staff member kept coming back and forth between her and her desk rather than having us sit at her desk. It made for a very chaotic and unprofessional setting as she could not find our reservation and just kept backing walk and forth between the waiting area and her desk. She never once asked us to sit at her desk to facilitate the process. Hotel does not have hot water and this was a major drawback. Water was lukewarm at best. Hotel is older and quaint but the facilities need to be updated as carpet was stained, walls need repainting, trash bins need replacing and the tile in bathrooms need to be redone. I don’t think their nightly rate warrants the accommodations they are offering.

This was a great experience, got a room before normal check in time (3pm), arrived at noon. Staff was very helpful and friendly, great food and hotel amenities.

Overall a great stay the only thing I wish it had a queen or king bed instead of the full beds

I was very happy with my stay. It is a very historic hotel that comes with the charm you would expect.At least half of the staff speak English, which is good considering the last hotel i stayed at in this area. no one spoke English.My only one complaint I have is the lack of coffee. I am a coffee drinker and most hotels I stay at have some sort of free coffee near the lobby or at the least in the room. NOT here :( You are required to pay for coffee here. Drinks can be a little pricey including the alcoholic ones.

Old world charm and ambiance, with modern amenities. Be sure to bring a 3 to 2 prong adapter and your hot water pot, however.

Beautiful hotel in a historic building, lovely garden and so comfy room, the breakfast buffet is simply the best, very traditional and tasty

Gran Alameda was a beautiful hotel with an amazing staff and free breakfast buffet unlike any other I have seen! The room was huge, and nicely decorated...but I did have a little problem with the spa shower that was had little to no water pressure. That being said, most of the other people I was with had great water pressure so it may have been a fluke.
