Excellent short stay as we prepare to take the ferry to Mull. Great proximity to Oban, up on the hill above the town, so quiet and peaceful. Incredible view facing west from the car park! Lovely stay in a clean and comfy room.

A wonderful hidden location above Oban but really an easy walk down a steep road off Pulpit Hill to the back of the CalMac ferry dock. Just pay attention to passing cars.

The fridge had some fruit juice and milk for hot drinks which was lovely. Even though it wasn't a b and b, the owner had thoughtfully put some breakfast items in the room which we appreciated as we had to be in the queue for the ferry to Coll at 6.15am.

Lovely place, host met us as we came in. Room was stalked with delicious goodies and fresh milk in fridge. A little tight to get to hotel but worth the drive up the mountain as the views are amazing. Convenient parking just up the road.

Carolyne was an excellent host. Meeting us at check-in and explaining the property. When she noticed we had mobility problems, she immediately asked if we would like to change to a downstairs room.The room was spotlessly clean, very good shower and plenty of tea, coffee makings and snacks. Parking was approx 50m away and no problem. Our host was available if we had any problems, of which we had none. The property is up a steep hill. My suggestion would be walk down (approx 12 minutes)and take a taxi back up (£5 approx). Overall a priceworthy and most enjoyable stay Only 1 problem, despite our best efforts, we were unable to detect any smell of pine, vomit, dampness or smelly dogs around mentioned in other reviews lol. Will definitely return if the host will have us.

I thoroughly enjoyed my one night at the guesthouse. The host could not have been nicer or more helpful. My room was great with nice touches of hospitality. The bathroom could use a little updating but nothing major—it all worked! Others have mentioned the steep uphill location, so I’ll just say, yes, it’s a climb. If you arrive with lots of luggage and don’t have a car, maybe get a taxi! But you end up on a nice quiet road with great views.

We found it difficult to find. Suggest Room 5 needs heavier curtains to stop sunshine/daylight so early in morning.

Nice to have a fridge with juice and milk. Needed a new bed as wsy to soft and we sank into the middle. No where to hang towels in the toilet.

The room was cean and nicely decorated. Bar fridge with milk and juice. The bed was in need of being replaced (room #2) as extremely soft and we rolled into the middle. Needs towel bars or hooks in the toilet as no where to hang the towels.

The woman in charge was friendly and helpful. The location is relatively close to train station but at the top of a winding steep road. It is scenic but one would enjoy it more if you are not walking.

Very welcoming and cheerful owner. We ordered a breakfast which was brought to our room. Easy walk into town, though up and down a steep hill so some may find difficult. Car parking easy. We enjoyed our stay and would go again.

the room was comfortable. The bathroom was disappointing. The shower floor was soft underfoot and the water pressure was poor. The towels were not absorbent. Having said that the room was a reasonable price and was fine for our one night there.

Ran out of toilet paper with no extra any where in the room, terrible shower going from extremely hot to freezing cold and having to stand on the edge. Directions for breakfast are unclear so we didn’t get what we thought. Wifi didn’t work in our room. Bed was uncomfortable

lovely clean rooms. nice welcome on arrival.convenient for the ferry .. walking distance. however please note there is no parking at the guest house. however there is free off road parking at the view point up the road.

The owner was very welcoming as I entered the b&b. Very good service and highly recommended going if your in Oban.

Our stay was wonderful, and our host was so helpful. She had breakfast in our room everyday, and the location was beautiful. One of our favorite stays by far! We were on our honeymoon, and out of all the cities we visited, Oban was our favorite.
