Great location. Most of the staff were extremely helpful, some not so. Good food - the breakfast is delicious with great variety. The property is starting to show some age, ex. Pool umbrellas do not open and close easily, room 803 bathroom floor has soft spots, probably due to water rot. The hotel is conveniently located near two very nice malls.

Great breakfast! Friendly staff - hotel was kept clean, but due to the tropical settings my specific room had very very tiny bugs (smaller than ants). Besides this issue and their policy on guest, the hotel was great and located perfectly next to 2 shopping mall centers with many options inside - gym, food court, grocery store, etc.

My Wife and I had previously stayed at this hotel without any problems. My wife had a friend visiting in the middle of the night and was told she could not visit the room. We would gladly pay the visit fee as other hotels have asked for in the past but where told this was not available so we suggested another room. As we were about to pay for the room the front desk agent gave us a bad attitude and said that he was NOT going to sell us the room and threatened to call the police. Which he did and we had to tell the police the whole story how he treated my wife and her friend with a great disrespect. I couldn’t believe that he did this to us. I spoke with someone the next morning and they said they would resolve the issue and never did. I will never stay at this place again. No follow up from anyone. Was quite embarrassing how we were treated by the staff

Excellent service on the part of the hotel staff. Very willing and accommodating.

At the parking lot, the person in charge was very rude. At the front desk the lady who assist us did jot have enough patience. Overall the bedroom is clean and comfortable. We will see tomorrow the breakfast and check out.

The Movich hotel & staff were great. Breakfast was very good, and dinner was excellent. The only thing we had a little trouble with was the shower. It leaked on the floor, and we had to use extra towels to contain the water. The housekeeping staff were very helpful and changed our towels daily because of this.

My favorite place so far in Barranquilla. Rooms clean, great beds. You can upgrade your room with free drinks and snacks for a decent price. Very relaxing. Music outside at night. Walkable also

Day time girl staff was rude and unprofessional. Denied me my upgrade and had the guts to ask me for extra money if I upgraded. I have VIP gold status. Won’t return back service. 15 minutes waiting for a drink while the guys are talking and laughing. Not recommending at all

Room bathroom was crusty and dirty. The carpet in the room was stained badly. The room had a very bad odor. The toilet seat was too small for the toilet. I kept falling into the toilet. It was a nightmare but the staff was so friendly i felt bad complaining so i dealt with it.

The coffee cups are the worst ever. I have never had a cup where I burn my fingers holding a cup of hot coffee. Some of the seats in the dinning are are terrible to sit at. Coffee service at breakfast almost non existent. The maid tried to rush me out of the room before check out.

Ac filter completely clogged, musty smell inside room, carpet old and stain worn. Overall pictures are misleading!
