Friendly staff and walking distance to dining and beach .

The floors were dirty.

Outdated, trashy, poor cleanliness. We found a large knife under some stairs. Hole in the wall that was failed to be repaired. Sticky sheets and blankets. Towels were unwashed and had multiple different colored hair. Sketchy people in surrounding area.

Amazing all time favorite

Elevator worked going up but not going down. Toilet took 2 flushes to flush. Room was worn. I felt uncomfortable

The 777 is a small quaint beach hotel. The location is incredible! You have the harbor on one side and the beach on the other. The best part of the hotel is the front desk staff. Genuinely kind people. You’re in the heart of all the great restaurants, bars and local grocery. The rates are reasonable and whether you’re in town for an overnight business trip or an extended stay vacation you will be welcomed! My personal suggestion is to request a room facing the harbor on the third floor with a smart TV. The ocean breeze in your room is so refreshing!

It was noisy all night. The staff were excellent however. The rate was good. Great parking. Unfortunately guests were noisy until 3 a.m. and the ice machine was right outside, with guests talking and getting ice throughout the night. Very friendly staff

Negatives: kid at the surf shop next door told us this was not a good hotel, and it’s usually occupied by tweakers. The hotel itself is old and out of date which I expected. The inside is not very nice, everything looked old, scratched not very inviting. The smoke detector was bolted to the wall. The walls were paper thin, you could hear every car on the busy street and every conversation happening outside. I didn’t feel very comfortable here we paid for 2 nights but left one night early. Positives: the sheets were clean, the lady at the front desk was very nice. Unfortunately this was not enough to make me want to stay here.

This place is across the street from where si grew up and the most affordable in the area. I like that they have ground floor rooms so we can roll in our Ebike.

Quiet and felt safe

This is an amazing ocean view motel! We have stayed at this property twice and this past March 8th long weekend was to celebrate my birthday with my family. The room is spacious and clean and the beds are comfortable. The location is great, safe and nice people stay there. Large patio on the 2nd floor with tables and chairs so you can watch the sunset while enjoying delicious food and drinks. The receptionist Lisa was extremely friendly and professional and the staff are excellent at your service. This motel will definitely be our go-to place for Huntington Beach. You will not get a better deal for this property and I will recommend this place.

Located on a main 4 lane road near a beach. Traffic noise is constant, dangerous to cross the road to access the beach on foot. Great organic shop a few hundred metres away. Very expensive for what it is. Room very, very basic Staff super friendly

Mr.Peter never answered phone prior to my arrival.I called approx 5 or 6 times..I am a business commercial transport driver...I was very tired upon arrival..I drove from Wisconsin to Long beach, CA. I stayed because I was exhausted, however I was miserable.

Incredibly friendly employees, multiple restaurants, and a beach within walking distance. As far as no-frills motor lodges go, this is hands down one of the best! I travel alone for work regularly and I never feel unsafe staying here.

Nice

Check in was difficult and unwelcoming. The room had a musty smell and was very noisy from the road. The $50 cash deposit was quite a surprise, though we had no trouble getting it back.

This place is a real dump. It smells disgusting inside, there are homeless people roaming around on property all hours of the night. The location is awesome. You're right across the street from the beach, but I wouldn't stay here again unless it was free
