We had a great stay at Hotel San Jorge. Although the hotel is a bit dated, the beds are comfortable and the gardens are lovely. We were nervous about not having air conditioner but the fan the hotel provided was sufficient as Antigua has cool nights. Would recommend staying here if you are looking for a chill time and restful evening.

This is a nice inexpensive option if you just need a place to crash. If you want to experience hotel amenities (bar, restaurant and pool) this may not be the the place for you. The hotel is owned by the same folks that own the Porta hotel which is really nice (and more high end) and it is just a block away. You can go there for breakfast and drink at the bar. Not sure if you can use the pool. The facilities have a charm to them but it is an old property that could use some improvements. My room was very small and there is no air conditioner. There is a fan that cool things down ok but it is noisy and takes up a lot of space. The bathroom was ok but the light above the mirror did not work. Overall this hotel is ok if you are budget conscious. The staff is friendly and it is in a good location (only a few blocks from the main plaza)

Stay here four days ago and came back again. A beautiful garden hotel reasonably priced.

A beautiful garden in the courtyard, extremely friendly and helpful staff. We are staying here again before flying back.

We enjoyed the location, and service of the employees, the garden, the terrace and the breakfasts. The curtains in the room and the pillows on the benches on the halls would improve the appearance of the facility. Triple rooms were very convenient and confortable for us.

Great location. Close to centre of town and attractions. Had the weirdest check in experience. Arrived late at around 9pm. As I walked in the person at the desk immediately says the hotel is fully booked. Showed him my reservation which he claimed he didn't have! Was given a room in a corner with no garden view as was stated on my reservation. Asked for another room and was told there were no other rooms. A blatant lie so I insisted and was given another room. I was treated like an intruder. A shocking experience!!!

Over all our stay was good, not great but good. My hopes are to stay there again buy with a bit better service. It took us an hour to find our location, we tried calling but the number was not in service. Not the email number that I received for hotel.com nor the number that they had online. We put Waze to find the direction however Waze keep on taking us to the north side. It’s on the south side (sur). When I finally arrived to the hotel, I was fluster with the experience and the lobby attendant gave me an excuse that was totally absurd. (Customary here in guate) In addition, the hotel has no air conditioner but we didn’t need one bc Antigua at night, get cooler. They did offer a fan which was great! I tried to shower after we got settled and there was warm/cool water & not hot. We asked if there was hot water and if we could have an additional two towels. Again, the lobby attendant gave us a reason that was not efficient (he said that the boiler was too far away and that why the water wasn’t hot. And they never took the towels. I later spoke to the supervisor, Claudia, she was more understand & she apologized & she took the matters more serious. Claudia even offered complimentary service at a neighbor hotel. Unfortunately, I couldn’t take her up on that offer since was busy the entire weekend. there is hot water but if multiple ppl are using it, it decreases in heat. Location is 3 blocks away from parque central. Overall, I like it. There is no pool & rooftop was ok

I wasn’t able to arrive the day I planned, but the receptionist made all the changes to help me. I’m very grateful with their support. I’m coming back for sure!

We unfortunately only stayed here 1 night, but can’t stop talking about how cute it was! Staff was friendly and accommodated our late arrival. Courtyard is pretty to sit in.

Very cute place! Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooftop terrace is quiet with views of the volcanoes. Courtyard is very cute with tons of flowers. Rooms are comfortable.

It was very quite, I got a couple of good night sleep.

Overall a great stay but free parking is on the street. The WiFi did not work but I really don't have any other complaints. For $60 what more can I expect. I would even stay again.

I had a very good stay here. The hotel is quiet and clean and the staff were really nice. It is located in a few blocks from the main town square so it makes walking to all destinations really easy.

The staff was super friendly and very accommodating.

Friendly staff. Beautiful gardens. Convenient location. However, there were no toiletries, they just give a small soap and some cheap shampoo. Despite this, I enjoyed my stay very much.

El personal del Hotel San Jorge es muy atento, muy amable, me sentí muy seguro con todas las medidas de higiene y limpieza. El hotel está alejado del ruido pero suficientemente cerca para caminar a cualquier parte del centro.

Amazing stuff!! Location, and hotel i love it, second time for me there and i would come back again an again, super recommended!!
