Nice relaxing stay

Booked for a last minute getaway, we were greeted very warmly on arrival and the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful throughout our three night stay. Very spacious but cozy throughout. Set in a terraced garden with views of lake Windermere. At the time we stayed there were not many guests so cannot say what it would be like when full, however the staff were all extremely professional and I cannot see it would change much when fully booked. Breakfast was enjoyable but limited with all elements served and not part of a buffet setup, not an issue though. Very clean and tidy. Would definitely stay here again.

Spent one night at hotel. The property is gorgeous with beautiful grounds and views. Harry the manager was fantastic very accommodating and had a great sense of humour.

The property was fantastic probably one of the best in the region! Olivia and Ben were great hosts at the hotel. The scenery with the sun going down at night and the added touch of bringing our group tea outside was phenomenal. Would definitely go back again.

The Lindeth Fell Country House was a fantastic place to stay with our family overnight on our way up to Scotland. Just up from the downtown area of Lake Windermere, the location was perfect for seeing the main sights, but still felt very tucked away and quiet. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful when my mother-in-law needed a recommendation for a pharmacy and when my father in law requested an extra bed sheet. The rooms and beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was very nice as well. The one comment is that, of our two rooms, one was very bright and felt newer, but the other was a bit drab from a decoration perspective and felt a bit outdated. All in all, it was a lovely stay and no real complaints! Thank you.

Amazing experience. Fantastic staff and customer service, very friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. Cream tea was freshly prepared and scones still warm. Room was amazing with a beautiful lake view. Homemade shortbread in the room was a lovely touch. Breakfast was also amazing, lovely fry-up with good quality ingredients. Brilliant experience all round, we will definitely be staying again.

The reality was exactly as the website described although some small refurbishment works were still being undertaken. Harry, the manager, was warm and welcoming with apologies given for the ongoing refurbishment works. The room was expansive, clean and very comfortable with both a bath and separate shower. Dinner was exquisite and effusive thanks were afforded to the chef for an outstanding three courses of what can only be described as heavenly eating! Prices are extremely reasonable given the quality proferred. The staff were extremely friendly and efficient with nothing too much trouble. Thoroughly recommend the hotel to anyone looking to relax and get away from it all. We will certainly be returning in the future.

Lovely couple of nights stay with mum for a Christmas shopping break, 1st time staying at Lindeth fell country house, hope the new changes aren't going to alter the character of the place, loved the fire lit when you walked in the entrance hall, it gave it a homely feel, staff where really nice and would consider staying here again.

The Lndeth Fell Inn is a beautiful property and the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. The rooms are large and extraordinarily clean. The breakfasts, which were included in the room rental, were varied and delicious. Since we arrived via train, we had to rely on taxis but they were prompt and very affordable. The nearby town of Bowness was walkable but you need to be in excellent shape to maneuver up the fairly steep roads on the way back to the Inn. Not recommended for the physically challenged.

The start was perfect, great communication before my stay with excellent explanation of the hotel and the things to do in the surrounding area. Very friendly and brilliant mix of country hotel and modern clean and well equipped room. Will definitely recommend and stay again. Also excellent location to Windermere and other Lake District attractions

Clean rooms with the necessary amenities, great customer service and fantastic location. A little away from Bowness Pier up a few steep sections which makes it trickier for those reliant on public transport but much nicer to stay in.

I spend a lot of time in hotels, but this was beyond compare. Absolutely stunning, staff went above and beyond, the hotel and gardens are just out of this world, not to mention the views. As for the room, it felt as though I was the only person to have ever used it. It was beyond immaculate from the shower to the linen and the bedding. The night cap decanter of sherry left in my room was just the most incredible touch. I’m reluctant to tell you just how wonderful this hotel is incase I can never get another booking here - but the whole experience was so wonderful that I was still there for lunch the next day enjoying the splendid gardens, views and warmth of the staff. 10/10 isn’t a high enough rating!

Fantastic hotel with lake and mountain views and just 15 minutes walk to the lake and close to the village of Bowness on Windermere with interesting shops, cinema and restaurants. One of the best breakfast menus I have ever seen. Comfortable clean bedroom and lounge, friendly and helpful staff.

We enjoyed our few days at Lindeth Fell and the staff were really helpful and attentive. Only negative was the dirt that kept falling from the extractor fan in the bathroom.

The property was in a beautiful setting and the staff were extremely friendly. The breakfast choice was beyond what we expected and the service was excellent. Felt extremely safe during Covid! Would love to go back!

Overall it was an excellent stay. The breakfast and afternoon tea were the highlights. The receptionists were quite helpful. Internet connection can be improved.

A lovely warm welcome as soon as I walked in. They were quite busy when I arrived, but one of the lovely ladies stopped to chat with me before I was checked in, and I was made to feel welcome, and as though nothing was too much trouble.
The open fires were a delight in the comfy living rooms with a drink and a book, and the bed was amazingly comfortable.

A beautiful B and B who go above and beyond to cater to their guests. Fantastic food and great location for walks. Will definitely be back!

A very comfy stay. The rooms were are very nicely furnished & presented (single & master). We found the hotel very warm which we could deal with in the master room but not the single. A bit disappointed not to get toiletries replenished daily.
Other than that a lovely place to stay. And very accommodating around rugby World Cup matches. Thank you!
