We have been to the Hotel for 4 times and I have recommended it to personal friends and family who in turn also had an awesome time. You can’t fault the location, the staff are all friendly and keen to provide you with anything you may need to make your stay one to remember. If you want to walk to the town you can and it’s a stunning walk along the lake. If you want to get there quicker the hotel will gladly lend you a bike or two for free again to make the difference!!! Breakfast is great and is the bar service, especially by the pool. The only slight negative I can think of is that there is no tea or coffee in the rooms. But you do have a fridge and there is a little shop just up the road. You even have English tv which was a new addition for this year and makes it feel more like home. We will be going again next year.

Absolutely one of the best hotels and locations I've ever stayed at...if not THE best. Everything about this hotel is superb, the staff, the food , the amazing breakfast , the choice of rooms, the incredible location (just 20 minute walk along the lake to Malcesine and just off the main road set in a bay - perfect ), the pool , the relaxed atmosphere , the parking , the style ......everything just how I like it to be.

Tranquillity was everywhere, whether it was on our balcony overlooking the lake, on the open veranda for breakfast or by table light for a high end dinner we were always relaxed and well looked after. Breakfast caters for everyone and the dinner menu is very specialist with many meals prepared at the table. I would only say the meals were good but not all dishes were worth the extra you pay compared to town. Finally it is a 20 to 30 minute walk to Malcesnie and a beautiful walk day and night that helps build your appetite for all the Italian food.

Very good experience. Wonderful view and very clean. Room well appointed. Air-con tricky to work. Complimentary breakfast excellent. Reception team very helpful. Housekeeping put a lovely message on our mirror, recognising our 30th anniversary, along with 2 glasses of Champagne delivered to our room. Very nice touch. Evening dinners limited menu and quite expensive. This was the only slight negative of the whole experience.

My family of 5 (3 kids, 8, 12 and 14) loves Hotel Val Di Sogno. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable and overlook the gorgeous lake. The food is excellent, including the included breakfast buffet, lunch by the pool and dinner at the hotel restaurant. Pool area was great too. No complaints, this place is great. 25 minute beautiful walk by the lake to Malcesine.

The hotel staff were absolutely fantastic. Not only were they polite and accomodating, but they had good knowledge of the area and were happy to go out of their way to assit us with nothing but a smile on their face. We had a room with a lake view wbich was absolutely breathtaking. I would definately be back and I would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay at Lake Garda.

The service was top-notch, the room was a little dusty and I wish they allowed the air conditioner to be turned on in the month of Oct. Had to keep the door open over night.. The nights can still get plenty warm and then get really cold in early morning ... Overall, beautiful place in a good location.

We could not fault this hotel, all the staff were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble and everybody had a smile on their face. Which is not surprising given the view they look at every day! The location is perfect as only a 5 minute bus ride or 30 minute stroll on the beautiful coastal path into Malcesine. Can't wait to return.

Nice, updated hotel next to the lake. Only thing we didn't like was the insulation. It felt like your neighbors are in your room...

The hotel is right on the lake and has amazing views. The rooms are large and modern. All the staff are friendly and very helpful. It has bicycles you can use to cycle along the lake front. It has a wonderful heated outdoor swimming pool and a brand new spa/gym, all overlooking the lake. I would definitely return.
