So unique. So safe. So quiet. So comfortable!

Douglas was awesome, room was spectacular. It was very windy and the power went out but they had it back up and running in no time. Heater and AC in each pod, along with some games and yoga mats. Very unique place to stay and we would highly recommend.

A beautiful and unique property up high in the mountains. We had the honeymoon pod with and outdoor shower and hot tub. There is also an indoor shower in the bathroom too which is equally as lovely. The bed was big and comfortable and there was all the home amenities you could want including A/C and a whole kitchen with cooking facilities and a BBQ! We didn't visit the restaurant on site but had breakfast bought to our room in the morning which was great. They also have a WhatsApp number which they reply to any questions or queries instantly. Would highly recommend this property.

Loved everything such a fun experience

i genuinely loved this property. it was very different from the typical hotel/resort vibes that i usually stay at. i only stayed for 1 night because i was driving to another location. it was quiet, safe, the front desk was very helpful, breakfast came on time etc etc. the sunset was beautiful and it rained at night however, the sound of the rain beating on the tent was beautiful. i even got to see some gorgeous birds and i think i even spoted a monkey. the only negative was that i made reservation for there infamous treetop restaurant but they canceled it due to one of the employees having covid. i would definitely remain. this property is a must when visiting costa rica and make sure to check out there treetop restaurant also.

This place is absolutely thr best. Super unique experience, clean and very thoughtful. They think about every detail, from space heaters, slippers to chocolate and coffee. I can't recommend this place more. It was one of thr best places we stayed in Costa Rica!!

Of all the places we stayed at in Costa Rica, we looked forward to this spot the most and they did not disappoint. Tents: spacious enough for two people - a bit chilly (was there in Aug) but the blankets were more than enough to keep us warm through the night - bugs did get in occasionally so we kept the tent door closed, nothing got on the bed so didn’t bother me too much - loved the kitchen and the mini breakfast we were able to whip up, plus house keeping did the dishes while we were away! Hot tub: already loaded when we arrived !! - perfect to soak in after a long day of outdoor activity Bathroom: bathrobes, slippers, ear plugs, hair dryer — they had it all covered. Rain shower with perfect pressure. Private parking and everything is located behind a gated community. Great experience! Highly recommend to book if you’re visiting the area

AMAZING!!!! I loved this place so much. We had some issues with our flight and rental car, but arriving here we were truly in paradise! So clean, amazing views, comfortable, great amenities. Couldn’t ask for anything more! Outstanding!

Worth every penny and I highly recommend this property

Very relaxing , romantic and fun place to stay. Monteverde so tranquil and this puts you right in the middle of the forest and trees. Combined with the dining experience was great one night stay.

We stayed in honeymoon pod. Sunset view partially blocked by the trees in front. Not as much foliage between the pod and the restaurant as we would have liked. Felt like people may have been able to see in. Overall great experience and nice to stay somewhere different. We saw lots of wildlife from the balcony and was nice to have hot tub and Netflix for the evenings.

My favorite place we stayed while in Costa Rica. Such a fun vibe, super cozy bed and spectacular views! Concierge was very helpful, recommended tours and arranged everything for us.

What a wonderful place to stay and a great introduction to Costa Rica. Chira was probably the most unique and lovely place that we stayed during our trip. Once inside the dome, I completely forgot that I was in a tent! The site had everything that we needed and then some. We were even provided a fridge-full of supplies for breakfast, a basket of fresh fruit, pop, water, and beer. The bathroom was awesome and the shower head even better than the one we have at home. It took a moment to get used to showering with a view of the outdoors, but was a neat experience. The only thing that would have made it better was to have some screened windows or a screen door to get fresh air into the tent without inviting in some rather large creepy crawlies/fliers. The staff was lovely but not always around when we thought they would be, but we're pretty self-sufficient so it was ok. We texted when necessary and got the responses that we needed. All-in-all, an absolutely wonderful place, and one of my favourites in all of my travels. I would stay at Chira again in a heartbeat.

Amazing property, very unique experience

Highly recommended unique accommodation which allows you to feel connected to the local environment. Luxurious feeling to the tent and bathroom with huge shower overlooking the forest. You hear, feel and see everything which is the point of staying here. Felt very secure. Nice private outdoor area for sunbathing and Netflix on demand at night. Owners provided lots of information before we arrived - we didn’t ask them. Only saw a staff member once so if you want constant on site presence this is not for you. We didn’t need anything but I am sure staff would have come if we did. Welcome basket and a stocked fridge was a nice touch as was extra thick blankets and throws as it just get chilly. Had a great time and would encourage others to try this. Local area is fantastic and wonderful activities to try.

Great experience. It is like a five star hotel only that you sleep in a spacious tent instead with the added plus of having a full outdoor kitchen. Lots of birds and butterflies. Great concept highly recommended.

An experience of a lifetime! Monteverde was my favourite part of the trip. Glamping was icing on the cake. Sleeping in the middle of a thunderstorm and loving every minute of it. The facilities were amazing and well thought out. I won’t change a thing!

It was even above expectation! Our dome was brand new, nobody slept there before us. The view was amazing. This was the best accomodation so far in my life. Everything is just so well thought, the idea is unique, and the experience too. Stunning view from the platform. The open glass shower... amazing! The only minor downside is that the property is still under construction, but there was no noise, nothing disturbing. It's just improving, there will be more plants, more trees, so it's just getting more and more beautiful. You won't even see it from your dome. I think the demand is getting bigger and bigger, soon, it won't be easy to book, so act fast and travel while you can! :)

Don’t look anymore and just book this hotel! Beautiful, comfortable and so different from everything else!!!
