Das Château liegt idyllisch, umgeben eines Parks. Anbindung an Straßburg ist sehr gut. Das Personal ist freundlich und äußerst zuvorkommend. Die Ausstattung der Zimmer lässt keine Wünsche offen. Für den Abend steht eine Bar mit Selbstbedienung, auf Vertrauensbasis, zu Verfügung. Das Frühstück ist typisch französische Küche.
Das Château ist in einem guten Zustand und zur Weihnachtszeit geschmackvoll dekoriert. Wir kommen gerne zu jeder Jahreszeit für eine Auszeit in das Château de Pourtales.
Beim Frühstück vermisse ich etwas Vielfalt aus der französischen Patisserie, vielleicht kleine Schnecken, Apfeltaschen, Crêpes, Waffeln.
Dennoch sind wir mehr als satt geworden!

Mooi kasteel met prachtig park. Beetje vergane glorie maar dat maakt het gemoedelijk. Prima kamer. Je eigen fles wijn, bier of frisdrank pakken in de ‘salon’. Fijne binnenplaats met terras. Goed ontbijt. Eenvoudig Restaurant op loopafstand. Vriendelijk personeel.
In het park stikt het van de muggen. Sprayen anders zit je onder de muggenbulten.

Es un Castillo espectacular, rodeado de árboles. Me encantó la decoración navideña. El personal encantador, muy atento.

It’s a great location to take a break from the city noise but be close enough to go into town for dinner. Self-serve lounge was very peaceful and convenient.

Lieux exceptionnel ! Personnels très sympathique et accueillant, rien à redire, nous reviendrons lors d’un prochain passage à Strasbourg sans aucun doute ! Le petit salon avec le café et thé offert est un vrai plus, les décorations de Noël offre un moment hors du temps ! Le parking gratuit, le choix du petit déjeuner… tout était parfait !

Schönes Zimmer, netter Balkon mit Ausblick in den Park, Zimmer sehr sauber
Kein Restaurant, keine Bar/Café. Es gibt eine Self-Service Lounge. Leider war das heiße Wasser für Tee leer und es gab eine sehr kleine Getränke-Auswahl. Frühstück entspricht einem 3-Sterne Hotel. Preis/Leistung passen hier leider überhaupt nicht.

The outside and ground floor were as photos and expectations lovely setting in parkland.
Bedroom on second floor was not soundproof, heard a family either above or beside us until well after midnight, also heard the toilet system every time someone flushes, it sounded like the macerator was under our bed.

Fabulous old house ouzing with character in an amazing countryside setting.
Thin walls in the new rooms, we could hear everything from our neighbours who weren't being loud! Poor pillows.

We are happy to stay in this beautiful and atmospheric chateau. Beautiful vintage premises located in a beautiful park. Clean room with comfy bed. Free coffee 24/7.
Although it was a nice experience to stay in such a place, I think it's overpriced since the location is far away from Strasbourg city. It took us 20 min to reach the city.

Loved The beautiful Chateau and lovely grounds..the main rooms were tastefully and beautifully decorated for xmas. Rooms were nice a spacious with balconies overlooking the forest.
Could have tea making facilities in the room for Winter since going to the Cosy Tea room for a quick cuppa before sleep Could be daunting in the cold.
Also if we could have proper Ceramic cups rather than Paper cups.
