My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Piop’u Sands. The condo was right next to the Grand Hyatt where my wife had a conference. Perfect location for exploring the South Shore of Kaua’i. It was great having a kitchen and dining area. They even had beach chairs, towels and coolers for us to take to the beach. It made our lives so much more comfortable and our trip that much more enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again.

This place was perfect. Clean beautiful and had everything we needed. The grounds are beautiful! This condo opened to the grass. Was right by pool and short walk to the Hyatt. As well as all the other beaches in poipu. Thank you!!

The property itself was very nice and clean. However, it was never mentioned to me that there was no air. I had an 86-year-old staying with me which made the days and some evenings very hard. I felt I had to impinge on others to keep her overnight on hot evenings. Even with the fans running on some evenings it was very humid. Everything except the Grand Hyatt was booked solid, so unless I wanted to pay over $1000 an evening, I had to stay where I was. My husband had to fix the lanai door several times as it kept falling out of the track. Also, it was stated that there were beach towels, but there actually were not any and I had to go out and purchase my own. I also had to purchase my own paper towels and toliet paper as there was only one-half of a roll in one bathroom and one full roll in the other bathroom. Also, it said it could accommodate 4 people, but there was only one set of bath towels, which meant we had to get detergent and keep washing the towels. As I said, the property was very pretty and clean. We were there for my son's wedding and I felt horrible having to impinge on others to accommodate my mother-in-law. This is my first time using an Air B&B. I guess if I do decide to go this way again, I will have to for sure do more research as to air conditioning and ask many more questions.

We had a marvelous stay in this condo. Everything was very clean and organized. Sitting on the patio, we watched the ocean and all the cute birds. We barbequed a few nightd, which is located very close to the condo. We enjoyed the pool, which is about a one minute walk from the condo. We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you for having such a lovely place for vacationers to stay.

Steve and Leah provided us with a wonderful stay at their Poipu condo! The condo itself was in beautiful condition, was spacious, and was well stocked with towels, linens, and beach gear. They were both communicative and accommodating during our stay. We immensely enjoyed our stay, and look forward to our next Kauai vacation so we can stay at their condo again!

Rented this place for our honeymoon, we were very happy with it, was nicer than the pictures of it online. Was clean and very quiet and peaceful, only think it could needs to make it more comfortable is air conditioning.

This is a great location, easy to get in and out of, and convenient to many activities. The owners were wonderful to communicate with. We would definitely recommend staying here. We had such a good time.

The condo is well located, spacious and clean and well appointed. We enjoyed both exploring the island which is beautiful and interesting, and hanging on the patio at the condo or watching the sun rise at the Point. We were surprised that there was no ac but, as Leah said, the Trade Winds kept us cool so there was no need for it. We highly recommend this accommodation.

This was our fourth visit to Poipu Sands and we enjoyed this unit more than all the others that we've tried. It is well appointed and perfectly clean and nicely located, with obviously caring owners. This trip we also opted for a couple of full-day resort passes ( ResortPass ) to the Grand Hyatt Kauai which gave us full use of the adjacent Hyatt Resort property. It was well worth it! We love Poipu Sands and everything on the island and we will return again soon.

Large, very clean one bedroom with every amenity, especially a washer and dryer. Quiet. Lovely grounds and convenient to the neighboring Hyatt. Responsive, kind owners and a very thoughtful cleaning lady. Highly recommend. Would gladly return

The condo and property were well-maintained, and just as described. I enjoyed sunrise and sunset walks along both the great walking/jogging path that is just steps from the lanai, and to the adjacent beach. It's also an easy drive to Kauai's points of interest and activities. There are a few good restaurants within walking distance. Shopping and other restaurants are a short drive. The check-in information provided by VRBO was outdated, and the time difference made it difficult to reach the owners. They responded as quickly as possible which was hours later, and the issues were quickly resolved once they were able to respond. If you select this property, contact Steve and Leah prior to arrival to confirm the key-box combo and on-site contact information is correct.

We had a great week at this condo in Kauai. We took advantage of the beach hiking opportunities nearby and enjoyed returning to this comfortable condo after a day of exercise. The bath towels were so luxurious and the king size bed was very comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking and storing food. We enjoyed the restaurants in walking distance, especially at the Hyatt next door. We’d be happy to return !

This is our third stay at Poipu Sands. We love it here.

We went to stay at the property once we got there realized there was NO A/C this was never told to us that we had to use a box fan to stay cool. Not expectable, we feel like this should have been stated in the information of the establishment After speaking to owner we were told they don’t tell what they don’t have just want they do. No A/C and it was hot and very humid in the house.

The unit, the weather and the island were all great.

We had a pleasant stay at Poipu Sands. The unit was located a short walk from Shipwreck Beach and the Grand Hyatt grounds. The amenities were sufficient and we had a good time overall.

Beautiful condo, perfect location, very cooperative owners. An overall 5 star stay, even though the bathtub could use updating. Finish on it is worn, causing it to look dirty even after cleaning it. Other than that, everything was perfect. Hated to leave.
