We were in Grand Junction for the JUCO World Series and needed a place that would accommodate a family for about the price of a hotel. We were surprised to find that the downstairs sofa made into a bed. I did not recall seeing that in the VRBO ad. The location was great for traveling to local parks and the field. It was clean. The style was a little dated in the bathrooms, but not a concern for our needs. The last 2 days the TV started having issues. I reported on check out. No AC only attic fans/vents. I got hot one night out of the stay. I will rebook it if I go back. It is not directly on the golf course.

worked really well for us.

Great location in a beautiful setting. This is an older home but was comfortable. Furniture and beds very nice and very comfortable. Property was clean. Located in a beautiful quiet area - close to stores and restaurants, but not so close you hear traffic. Highly recommend trying out Ocotillo Restaurant up the hill at the golf course. Only thing to keep in mind - this is a dog-friendly rental so if you are allergic, this is not the place forj you.

Only stayed for about 10 hours on the way to Moab, but this place was lovely! Easy access to the mountain bike trails makes this a place we’ll come back to and stay longer next time we come for some lunch loops!

Very dated decor. When I swept the floor, there were unidentifiable things found under cabinets. Flies were a big issue coming from someplace? It worked for our family trip to keep us together. The shower heads in both bathrooms were desperately in need of repair or replacement. At 5'3" I had to duck to get under the shower heads. My two 6 ft guys it was impossible.

Great area. Quiet and safe. Beautiful scenery.

Pros: This property had many positives. The location was peaceful and quiet, the layout worked well for our family of three (could have comfortably accommodated more), the billiards/cornhole were a hit with our son, the beds were comfortable, there were adequate linens, the communication with the property manager was excellent, and the WiFi was mostly reliable.
Cons: While apparently common in this area, the swamp cooler cooling system was a downside for us. The fan was loud and to avoid a “musky” smell, we had to leave it running constantly. I rated cleanliness as 4 stars as I had to wipe down the cupboards and refrigerator before placing our food items inside. I could not find a colander or scissors in the kitchen, which was inconvenient.

We came out to GJ so my daughter could do a college visit. Loved this house. Beautiful neighborhood with golf course and so many hiking trails. Seeing the National Monument each evening at Sunset was spectacular. Highly recommend this property.

We came to Grand Junction for a women’s retreat and stayed in this beautiful home. The house was clean and well stocked. A perfect size for eight of us to sleep comfortably. Beautiful views and a short drive to downtown.

This worked well for our two families. It's a bit dated and the kitchen is sparse, but the beds were comfortable and the condo was clean.

We needed a place to stay for a family reunion in Grand Junction. This place was conveniently located to the center of town. The neighborhood was lovely with expansive overlooks and winding trails to explore. Highly recommend!

The good: House was clean, conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood, we never heard the neighbors on the other side of the duplex. Good location for cyclists and pet-friendly.
The bad: The house was strangely equipped. For example, it lacked important amenities that any modest motel would have, but had multiple coffee makers. The living / dining area is small and awkwardly furnished. The dining table is small and has 4 chairs - some of our party sat on the sofa to eat. The house isn’t suitable for 6 adults who want to spend much time together, and would be difficult with children.
The ugly: The organization renting the house resisted taking responsibility for the property. A request for hangers for 5 adults (there were none in the house when we arrived) got us 6 each and quibbling over how many we “should” need. The owner had to be consulted for bigger issues, while 4 days of our stay ticked away.
The Take-away: My worst VRBO experience ever, by far. If your party is small and you don’t need anything beyond what’s there for a comfortable stay, it’s fine. If you need something that isn’t explicitly noted as being provided in the property description, you may wish to bring it yourself. The management / ownership team was inept, ineffective, and not very interested in keeping us happy after the final payment was made.

The property was as listed and it was super easy to get into. My daughter enjoyed having her “own house” for her birthday.

Lovely area for leisure hikes and Mountain Views. Perfect balance between rural privacy and downtown proximity. Property manager was attentive to any and all needs. We ended up extending our stay and renting for 4 months. We hosted family for the holidays and friends for ski trips. Everyone loved this property! Highly recommend!!!

Very clean. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of room. We visited a couple of wineries, saw beautiful colors in the trees. Quick response when we had questions. Definitely would recommend this home.

Quiet safe neighborhood, very clean, beautifully decorated with comfortable cozy bedding. Nice updates have been done to this property to make it a wonderful place to stay. There is room for the whole family with great outdoor deck space which was perfect for morning coffee and a garage to play games. My kids are already asking when we can come back! I would definitely recommend staying here-great value for the price.
