Very kind and accommodating. The location was convenient, you see it right when you walk out of the Strasbourg train station. The room was small and the bathroom was large

First put me in a room with no shower, a bath tub with an extension shower about four foot long. I am 6 foot 6 inches and 65 years old. Went down and asked for another room. The two young ladies said I was out of luck. After getting the manger involved she changed my room. She was nice. That room the next mourning smelled like sewage backup. The poured something in the shower drain and it only half masked the smell. Could not wait to leave that hotel. I have never given a negative review but this was a total mess of a hotel.

The hotel was right near the train station and tram lines. Which was perfect for traveling around. The also had a great tv selection in your language.

We were in Europe for about a month and we stayed in 8 different hotels in different cities and I could say Arok is the best for the price we paid. The staff were friendly and always willing to help. The room was spacious and clean and has the best location. You can walk to all the tourist attractions and the beautiful central station is right in front if you need train or tram to travel.

Pros: friendly staff, discount on nearby parking (like 200 meters), free coffee at a machine in the reception, good location, in front of main train station and close to central touristic area, changed our room without further complications (check cons), great sound isolation on windows, great atmosphere/design; Cons: elevator does not reach last floor (5, I believe). Air conditioner is central and is depends on how the hotel sets it. Unfortunately we reached there at end of summer and while temperature was hot, they had already changed centrally to warm (because autumn was starting). Our room was crazily hot to the point of being unsustainable and they changed us to the 1st floor, with windows open it was ok, but then there was noise from street, so an undesirable dillema.

This isn't a run of the mill hotel. It has character and style, and everything is done well. Breakfast was excellent and the lobby had some welcome features, such as free coffee. We really enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is well located and the service is correct. The room is quite simple and empty. The problem is we have been given a welcom cocktail ticket for two at the reception, it was a great idea. But before our check-out, we did not find a moment to use it, then we have discussed with the employee of reception that day and asked if it is possible for us to use it for our next trip in Strasbourg (since there is no date mentioned or using conditions mentioned on the ticket). The answer is yes, and we appreciate very much this flexibility. The surprise is when we came back to the hotel on 28/09 and eventually want to use this ticket, the answer is no. Then I explained that we asked before and your colleague said Yes, otherwise we would have used it anyway before our last departure. At the that moment, the bar is empty and even the coffee machine is available, but nobody wanted or really cared us to give a minimum commercial arrangement. I did not insist, but still feel kind of disappointed. Sometimes, there is no cost for doing a small kind thing, but it does make a big difference somehow.
