I was really impressed with The Clarion we stayed three nights and did not want to leave. The breakfast is outstanding and one of the best I have had.

Spacious room, very comfortable in all ways. Very good breakfast. Convinient location. The best hotel I've tried in Oslo so far and worth the cost.
Only minus to mention is no possibility to stream to the TV from the phone (except for sound), which makes the TV very redundant with the channels available. Expected a more modern solution to this from such a modern hotel.

The check in was very quick. The service was realky nice. Breakfast was rich. I could find many things to eat. The room was clean but I got the room with no view. The Munch museum and Opera are very close. The area outside is very nice and new. Close to the busses.

Amazing Norwegian breakfast - top notch food!! Made to order options as well. Even had made to order cappuccinos, lattes, etc. Plenty of space for dining comfortably. Property clean, easy to navigate the space, etc

Coming off a red-eye from North America, I was hoping to get into a room a bit early. None were available. Everyone was told to sit around and wait, but they'd definitely have rooms available at 3pm.
At 2:55pm, they had "no rooms". At 3pm, they quickly gave out the keys to a dozen rooms.
They lied about room availability. They wouldn't accept payment for early-checkin. And they forced many people to sit around waiting in the lobby for hours for no good reason.
Would not recommend.

Staff in the reception did very little to convey a warm welcome and the room was noisy in the morning due to the tram on the street outside. The noise insulation was not up to standard.

The hotel is well situated with easy access to the Munch Museum, the Opera House, the Central Station and public transport. It is within walking distance of many of the other city sights. The rooms are large, comfortable and well appointed, the staff very friendly and helpful and the breakfast is superb.
Definitely my place to stay if I ever visit Oslo again.

We stayed at this lovely hotel for 4 nights, celebrating my wife's birthday and our anniversary. The welcome was warm and instructions clear. The staff seem to 'get on' as part of a great team which really helps. Breakfast was of high quality and plenty of it. The room was fine. The bed comfortable. Had a slight issue working out the lighting but soon sorted. The location near to the Opera house, Munch gallery and station was really great for our explorations!

The hotel was nice and clean and close to everywhere. Breakfast was great, and staff very friendly and helpful. We managed to walk to most of the places we wanted to see, and the dining opportunity was excellent.

This was a perfect location! Walkable to a lot of tourist attractions, train station, and waterfront restaurants. The breakfast buffet was great! A little frustration with shower soaking entire bathroom but at least they provided a lot of towels. We also appreciated how many elevators they had - never more than a few seconds wait. We stayed here twice this trip and we would recommend it to anyone!

The property was easy walking distance from Oslo Central train station and you could easily access the waterfront and many restaurant options. We had two quiet nights. The breakfast was wonderful but opens a little too late on the weekends for people with early trains. We would stay here again!

I had to leave in the morning before the hotel's official breakfast started (at 7 am) and therefore I ordered myself a breakfast bag, which I picked up at 6 am. The bag contained only one apple, a little apple juice and one small bread, with two small slices of cheese and no more than one slice of ham in between. On top of that, the bread was dry. The content of the breakfast bag was a big disappointment, considering that the hotel night cost almost 400 €.

No phone in room... dangergous in emergency. Bed uncomfortable. No help with luggage. Temperature and lighting stupid. Everything to save money, do not care about guest!!!

2 nights stay. Breakfast superb first morning. Had early start 2nd morning so ordered a take away breakfast, unfortunately it was poor. 1 sandwich an apple and some orange juice.

Would definitely come back to this hotel next time I’m in Oslo! Highlight for me was the gym, which was modern and clean and one of the best hotel gyms I’ve been in! Only thing to note is that the young reception staff could be a bit more personable - they were not the most hospitable. The guys in the bar were great!
