Curtains don’t provide full blackout. Noisy air conditioning. Bathroom does not provide enough hooks to hang towels, not enough room to put amenities. Room does not provide enough table space. SmartTV does not connect to wifi. Telefone calls to receptions are not answered.

The room was amazing, just missing vanity area in the bathroom and some hooks for towels , otherwise all was very good. Breakfast was nice. Pool was clean. Close yo the bear, walking distance.

Amazing stay. Staff is very friendly everywhere in the hotel. Big rooms, modern and very clean, amazing view! Breakfast had lots of choices, importantly variety of fruit options to take with, which was important for us as we travel with a toddler who snacks. Hotel provided a crib and extra towels when we needed. there is also a great gym with a view and sauna on 17th floor. This hotel should be 4 stars instead of 3 as it is rated in Google. Very happy with our hotel choice!

Short stay, hotel nice, well located walking distance from restaurants and shops. Staff helpful and friendly funny design. Just that breakfast starts late, 8 am, but it seems to be the norm around in punta del este. Thanks God that i travel with my kettle and press for early coffee..

the location and room decoration are fantastic. Room 1101 had a permanent and disgusting smell of drainage (bathroom tubes). Cleaning wise was very basic. They wanted to charge us USD 20 for a lost room key and USD 5 for a bike rental.

Good location, close to shopping and not too far from the beaches.

This is a very unique hotel with great rooms. The rooms are large, modern and the entire outside wall is glass, in our case looking out onto a green area. Upper level rooms have great views. Staff were all wonderful and the included breakfast was just excellent. It is away from the peninsula but in a good area with all the services, and a short 15 min. walk to Brava beach..which was wonderful too.

Spacious room, nice breakfast

When we booked the room through Hotel .com we booking an ocean view room and even paid a premium. We were only on 6 th floor - not facing the ocean and view was of residential back yards. When we asked the rude gentleman at the front desk said we booked through Hotels.com so they couldn’t move us. Then minutes later another couple in our party found out their reservation was never set up and booked a room on the spot and got a 15 th floor with ocean view. And paid less per night than we did. But was actually yelled at by the rude desk clerk while trying to figure out what went wrong with their bookings The best part of the stay was the breakfast. I will not stay at a Don Majestic again. May not use Hotels.com because we lost control or confirming actual room we chose and paid for when we were checking in.

It has fun architecture, and it's in pretty good shape, but you can see places where the floor laminate is starting to peel. Self-serve breakfast was fine, but not unique. Staff were professional but don't bend over backwards like they do at Enjoy to make sure things are perfect. No desk in the room makes it harder for business people to do work. Amazing view from the gym on floor 17, but not as much from the low floors. Parking in the basement garage was very easy.

Had a beautiful room on the 14th floor the view was wonderful! The property was so clean and the front desk staff was outstanding! One front desk person stood out and that was Lucas he spoke perfect english, new all about the area he was a wonderful host! The hotel is lucky to have such an outstanding young man working there! I highly recommend The Don Majestic Hotel!

Unique building; excellent room; great breakfast & great check in

Very nice and well maintained hotel.

Pleasantly surprised. Quite big rooms, shower with good water pressure. The bed was King, not Queen as advertised, mattress definitely on the hard side. Breakfast was excellent. Location and parking very good

The AA never worked as expected. We turned it on as soon we made the check in, and never reached the target temperature. The beds were so hard. The cold water in general was not really cold, could confuse the hot and the cold p.e. The room was nice, open.

The location is great. Beautiful updated hotel with all amenities. Rooms are very comfortable and a nice view.Remarkable the cleanness and all protocols in place due to the covid reality.Great customer service both at the hotel and restaurant El Palenque. Location is very good and the size of the room is perfect
