Wonderful hotel, but the spa was closed which was a bit of a disappointment. The breakfast was like heaven. I have been to 92 countries and I have never had such a nice breakfast

We stayed twice at this property, the first time we had no complaints, the second time they put us in a room right above the bar/restaurant and it was extremely loud with super loud music and drunken idiots yelling and making it impossible to rest. We called the front desk and there never was an apology or an offer for a quieter room, they would only say that they could not hear anything. Sad, but won’t be staying there anymore.

Great service and great property. from the moment you walk in feels welcome and from front desk to security and room service staff are all excellent. Especially in their dinning room, great team with great manager Gloria, she is supper friendly every time and always make sure customer's needs been met at all time. Restaurant food is also great. we spent 7 nights there and highly recommended this hotel in Arequipa.

This place is amazing so clean beautiful The staff soo friendly treating like they know you the only problem was too short next time. I will plan to stay more longer, but I really enjoyed everything was so perfect beyond what I was expecting.

It may be a good idea to have a take telephone shower added to the shower. For small people, it would make them feel better when taking a shower.

We stayed here for one night as we had an early flight from Arequipa. After we had been travelling around for a week we enjoyed the 'western' comforts - great shower, comfy bed. We had dinner at the hotel which was very nice, and the service was great. But for us, we were really disappointed at the noise. I dont know if there was a concert on nearby, or if it was to do with the protests which were starting to gather pace, but late into the night/early hours of the morning we could hear loud music/a person on a microphone so we barely slept. For a modern, newly built hotel we would of expected better soundproofing!

The front desk staff are so friendly and helpful, our two days canyon tour start 3:30am, she asked the kitchen to package breakfast for us. Help us make call to tour company to confirm pick up. Our room is very clean, highly recommend this hotel

The hotel is situated away from the hustle and bustle of historic center, but it a short taxi ride away from many attractions. The pluses for this hotel are the following
1. The rooms and common area are very clean.
2. Close to good restaurants
3. Very good breakfast spread
But the strength of the hotel is the friendly, effective and attentive staff. A special shot out to Fatima at front desk.

The stay was wonderful and would recommend any solo traveler or even family to stay at this hotel, they do their very best to make sure the stay is comfortable, I was greeted with a drink and explained all the amenities available to me, was able to hold bags past checkout and also able to call taxis if you need one to visit the city. Overall very accommodating.

Stand new and swank hotel between downtown and the airport. Best bed I have slept on in any hotel in this two month trip - so comfortable. Great staff, great breakfast and I had a delicious steak dinner as well in the restaurant. Quiet and comfortable. Great staff. Large TV with hundreds of channels. Convenient to get to the airport.

The best hotel I visited during my 3 week trip in Peru. The hotel is very modern with nice comfortable beds and big tvs. The gym is small but nice and the spa amenities are free to use and pretty good for Latin American standards. The staff is very friendly which was a plus. I heard some minor dog barking but this hotel is very quiet compared to most others in the major cities. I would definitely come back here!

Only downside is location. Nothing much to do in walking distance. However the hotel has all the amenities one could want.
Free breakfast is also amazing, omelete, bread, ham and cheese platter, cereal and yogurt, fresh natural fruit smoothie.

They had an amazing customer service, specially in the restaurant. The staff was amazing and very friendly !!! (Gloria, Fatima, Milagros, Toñito, Nicolas, Ernesto, Andres and Junior) They were always very attractive making sure that we had a great time while we were there, they were always checking up on us making sure that we had received everything with great service. Every day they clean and disinfected the room entirely which I loved specially in this time that everything should be clean thoroughly because of the pandemic. We stayed for 12 days at the hotel in Arequipa and I strongly recommend it, I definitely go back there if I have the chance to stop by Arequipa again

The Sonesta is a fairly new hotel with large rooms and excellent staff. Because of Covid the restaurants were closed, but room service was available. The rooms were very clean and I would stay there again.

Due to Corona virus regulations, a/c was not working but wasn’t informed until we got to the room. Had to ask for a fan. Internet was kind of spotty, they said was because the high volume of occupancy. Almost no hot water in the shower.
Food and room service was good!
