Great location near beaches and pool. Quiet complex. Comfortable and well furnished condo.

Too many problems. Here is a start: I still have not received an update or any response as promised last Sunday, January 21. Below is our most recent list of concerns: 1) left sliding glass door was broken before our arrival, broken glass remnants remains with plastic covering in place of the door. 2) guest lockbox in instructions did not include keys. Also, it doesn’t latch/lock. We had to call to get access to the emergency box to get keys. This should have been told to us in advance rather than standing in front of the door wondering how to get in. Verizon has no cell reception at the unit so to call required leaving the area. 3) inside door handle of door into unit is fragile and about to fall off 4) the microwave turntable does not reliably turn note does food consistently warm up either use 5) the remote pic and description in binder does not match the remote in the unit 6) the binder does not appear to be for our unit. It is labeled for #204 yet we are in #102 7) the kitchen sink pours into the center median splashing water rather than into a basin. Washing dishes is a wet experience as it can’t be adjusted 8) one of the cam lights in the kitchen is missing the inside liner. The unfinished look is unprofessional. 9) the light over the sink is out 10) mold all over the master shower ceiling - see pics. This is a health hazard and should be reported. 11) bathroom fan in hall bath is blowing dust and mold - again, reportable. See pic. 12) we’ve thrown out the dust moldy candy/gum found on the floor underneath the master bed 13) it is clear this unit is not inspected for maintenance to be up to professional standards. What is your plan for bringing this unit out deferred maintenance and to a professional level? 14) I have been asking for updates since the first morning we woke up here with no details available after follow up. It is now going into day 6 of our stay.

This condo was gorgeous! The photos really don’t do it Justice. It was so well appointed w furniture and furnishings. Awesome huge walk in shower. Great beds. Stunning ocean view and sunsets. Steps to the pool. In a beautiful part of Princeville. This place was just absolutely top notch! Very quite and exclusive area. The pool over looking the ocean was so beautiful.

The steps down to the first level were a bit of a pain with all the luggage. But boy was it worth it just to get to stay here. Kitchen could be better stocked and perhaps have some plates/cups for kids. We were worried our son might break one of their beautiful dishes. But he didn’t.

Overall great location - especially if you like a gated/planned community atmosphere - safe, quiet and beautifully landscaped. The unit itself is also beautiful and well-appointed and seems to have been recently refurbished, with nice beachy touches. There is plenty of seating, kitchen and bathroom space. We were only one couple, but it could easily hold 2 couples, as long as one is willing to sleep in a queen bed. The king bed was very comfortable. The kitchen has plenty of pots/pans, plates, utensils, etc. There are large sliding doors, which are beautiful and provide a great ocean view with a large grassy area out back. The pool area was superb - and was never overcrowded - great water temperature, plenty of umbrellas and lounge chairs and very well-maintained. I saw other comments about a lot of stairs, but we didn't find that to be the case at all - access was very easy and we have no complaints!

Since this is a first floor unit, the outdoor space has a ceiling and feels a bit like you're sitting in a 2 car garage with an ocean view - this makes it nice and shady, but blocks all breeze for one of the 2 outside areas. The beach is down a steep trail and is rather small, so it can get a bit busy. If you don't like steep paths or have health issues, you'll be driving to a beach (but plenty of those around!). This unit is VERY close to the pool, which is great for access, but if it gets loud (not often), sitting on your lanai isn't very peaceful. It is also within earshot of the resort parking lot next door, which provides public beach access, so at times, louder groups of people can be heard, especially when they are headed back up from the beach around sunset. There are only a couple of windows on the backside of the unit, so there isn't a breeze that comes through if the windows are open - we usually don't use A/C, but did here due to the lack of breeze. I think upper units would be breezier and have better views in general. One whole section of window next to the sliding doors had been busted out and it is currently repaired with a plexiglass panel and clear packaging tape, so not secure at all - but the community itself is secure, so we weren't worried about this.
