Very nice hotel with a good standard and nice rooms, restaurant and underground parking. Got nice dinner from buffet and alike in the morning at breakfast. Price is OK and freandly service. Will surely return.

Nice modern 4* hotel in the center of Peniscola. with a view to the sea. Very nice room with balcony and an underground parking lot for your car, thou you have to pay extra for this. The restaurant had a buffet and a cook to prepare meat and fish and a pleasent selection of vegtables etc. The breakfast buffet was also with a cook for making fresh fries aegs etc. and a big selection of bread etc. The price offer for half pension was wery compeditive with other hotels at lover class. In all a hotel to return to.

Horrendous hotel, looks fresh from the outside and from the lobby however rooms are old beds made of rocks. Bathroom with a shower that you can’t adjust the shower head so after a shower the bathroom turns into a pool since the shower had no curtains. Mini bar empty except one small bottle of water! Given the price we paid we feel absolutely cheated. The only positive thing were the staff that were friendly.

My wife, adult daughter and I decided to spend a night at Peniscola enroute from Valencia to Tortosa to see its 13th century Templar fortress located in a spectacular setting at the top of a steep peninsula almost completely surrounded by the Mediterranean. We booked two adjoining rooms at the Hotel RH Don Carlos with balconies offering views of the castle and old city and we were very glad we did, as the staff at the hotel were welcoming and helpful, the rooms were excellent value, the breakfast was quite good and the hotel, itself, was within walking distance of the castle and close to the town’s long and beautiful beaches. Although our stay was only two days before Christmas, the weather was sunny and surprisingly warm. As well, Peniscola offers a number of seafood-oriented restaurants, one of which we dined in after exploring the old city (the hotel also has a restaurant which we would have tried if our stay were longer). Our walk back to the hotel after dark along the beachside esplanade was well lit and offered beautiful views of the castle in the distance framed by sand and palm trees. Since Peniscola and the hotel would probably be quite crowded during the summer, I would recommend visiting from late September until early May, if possible.

Great hotel - very comfortable beds and fab location to historic old town and the contemporary arts/theatres and huge park. Breakfast though could be improved with more cooked eggs selection (only boiled eggs)!

Great location and beautiful beach right on the doorstep. Amazing rooftop pool hanging over the edge.

Never got to stay at the hotel as they phoned on the morning of our check in to say there was a problem with our room!!!! They moved us to another hotel 3 km down the beach. They said it was the same standard- NO WAY!!! We were VERY UNHAPPY but it was too late to find anywhere else. Will NEVER stay at this group of hotels again.

The rooftop pool is amazing. Great location. Good breakfast buffet. We were disappointed that there was a extra charge for the Jacuzzi and sauna. The English translation on the information provided in the room indicated spa treatments had a fee, which we would expect, but that the other amenities (I.e. and sauna) we no extra charge for hotel guests. We’ve never stayed at a hotel that charges extra to use a hot tub or sauna.

Pool and gym were good (a little cold as unheated, but was October), and the indoor spa was also brilliant. Only downside was the air conditioning - it didn't work much, so room was very hot, and although we reported it, no change.

Very nice and modern Hotel close to the beach in Peniscola. The personal at the reception was very friendly and we had a nice check-in. Room was very clean with a balcony to the inner yard of the hotel. Breakfast was plenty and of good quality. Coffe was also good. During low season, free parking on the street behind the Hotel was available.

This hotel is Conveniently located one block behind the beach, so while not right on the beach like other hotels in the area it had convenient parking out the front, was close to restaurants, shopping and an easy to walk everywhere. It is also close to the castle, a must when in Peniscola. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included and had good options. Highly recommended.

The people very nice , breakfast very good, very good location, but mattress hard and you feel spins, pillows covers very bad, towel bad, amenities ok, in general a nice property with poor kept rooms,individual beds sold as King rooms, JUst the rooms are not comfortable, with a bit of care it woul be Great.

Nice, helpful hotel in a good position in an excellent resort. Very good value at 48e including breakfast, with the lowest underground garage rate of 6.50e we have seen.

Excellent location, easy parking. Great views of the Castle. Staff very helpful, hotel very comfortable.
