This property was one of the best places I have been to and will continue to stay there when I come back to North Carolina.

The location was convenient and looked very nice on the outside
The A/C was turned off when we arrived so the room had a musty smell until the A/C ran a while. The bathroom door is awful- a barn door with a hook to close it. No handle on inside of door so it doesn’t fully close. Lobby is not appealing. No one was at the desk for check in or check out - had to wait for them. A bell would be nice if they aren’t at the desk.

Host upon checking in was friendly. The beds were clean. Breakfast was good. The staff who maintained and kept the breakfast stations full and clean was amazing. She deserved recognition. Didn’t get her name but she worked on April 7th in the morning.
Staff at check out was very cold and didn’t seem happy.
Room really needs to be updated. The address for the hotel needs to be fixed as many have mistaken the Holiday Inn Express and the other Holiday Inn across the highway.

Breakfast was delicious
1) The GPS brought us to the wrong location, there a Holiday Inn and a Holiday Inn Express. It brought me to the Holiday Inn, I was told the Holiday Inn Express was a 1/2 mile away, it happens all the time. If they know this why not fix it!!
2) We normal ask for the 1st floor, I was told all the rooms on the 1st floor are for guests who have animals, I am allergic to animal hair, unable to use 1st floor.
3) While waiting to take elevator up to the room I was told by different guests not to use the elevator on the right it was not working correctly. My whole stay I didn’t use that elevator.

Very clean, bed was very comfortable and pillows were nice. One of the best rooms I have stayed in, the layout with desk, lighting, etc was really well done. Staff was great and it was easy to reserve another day when they weather turned bad.

Clean and nice am meal
We were woken up at 1 in the morning I called the desk 3 times because the people next to us were drunk and the issue continued.. we checked out a day early because of this and still got charged a full day when we left on Sunday a day early!!!!! Not a very good experience and the night girl did nothing about it!

The location was close to the interstate for easy off and easy on. The breakfast was adequate and the staff kept the area clean.
Although the breakfast was good I said it was adequate because I felt it could have been better stocked up when food was running low.

Loved the idea of having the toiletries set up in the hand pump bottles.
The check in staff were quite rude and very monotone. Did not engage with us at all. The check out staff was too busy on her phone.

The floors in the room had rubber bands and the plastic clothes tags laying in the floor. And there was a blow pop on top of the TV. AC was finicky also
