Good room with comfy beds right in the center of Aarau.
Do not use the online check-in, because the payment system charges an additional 4% payment costs.

Hotel is right in the middle of this very pretty town and right on the river. As we were travelling around Switzerland using only trains and other public transport, the hotel was in a great spot too. Not far from the station and right next to a busy bus stop. Friendly staff, nice comfortable room. Good breakfasts.

Great location, fantastic facilities, spacious. As an old Aarauer I very much appreciated staying in the Kettenbrugg, a great refurb. well done.

Perfect location close to the city center. Nice comfortable room, clean.
If you like quiet, then ask for room away from the street. However then your view will be towards apartments.

The location and the hotel itself is great. Breakfast was nice and the overall stay was really good.
Not all rooms have a bath tub which you would assume looking at the picture and the description. It is important to specifically request it if you like to have one.
Also there is a bar close by which is a bit noisy till late at night.

Great location, excellent room.. All was very clean and comfortable.. The hotel handled our special request perfectly. The breakfast buffet is delicious and has everything. Really happy to stay there again.

The hotel is perfectly located, not far from the center and close to the Aare river. I enjoyed every moment and the bed was one of the best I ever had in hotels! The Zollhuus Restaurant is a must.

Smooth check-in and check-out, friendly staff who accommodated my request. Good breakfast options.
Just a few steps away from the old town with lots of restaurants, bars, shops. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel for a bus to the train station.
Immaculate room, great WIFI.
I would stay here again when in Aargau.
My room on the 3rd floor had a tiny window that could open and practically no view.
