Such a beautiful place with many small attentions to detail. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly and really made us feel at home. The breakfast was varied and fresh.

The terrace

We are very disappointed with our stay: - We slept very badly, the two single beds are actually two extra beds where a lot of slats are missing. It's not at all suitable for adults, so without slats, imagine... - The first night there were no duvets/covers for the two single beds. How is it possible to sleep without it? - Empty salt, empty pepper… too bad for a weekend stay not to have these simple seasonings that we usually find. Regarding communication and reception, we are a little shocked. The arrival was autonomous. No worries for that. However, the person in charge of reception wrote to us to find out if she could come the next day at 11 a.m. Unfortunately, being in weekend we had not planned to stay at the apartment, so we proposed to her early in the morning before our day of walk. No answer. She did, however, come at 9 p.m. on Saturday night. Ringed the doorbell twice, we didn't have time to come to the door when the person entered the apartment!! First, it's 9 p.m., the baby was sleeping, we were in the middle of a dinner, and second, it's very shocking to get into people's privacy! The person sat down at the table with his computer to take the deposit and the tourist tax (we were leaving the next morning), on a Saturday evening at 9 p.m. In short, we are shocked and very disappointed. It is not worth the price at all despite the terrace being very pleasant.

spacious and authentic in the centre

Great location, loved the farmer's market and shops nearby. The cafe was great for morning coffee. We really enjoyed having dinner on the roof top terrace at night. The ironwork on the windows, doors and in the hallways were fantastic. A comfortable place to stay for a family.

Washing machine soap would have been nice to have.

Set in the centre of the active town of Pallafrugel a few metres from the weekly market and daily covered market. Surrounded by cafes, restaurants and interesting shops this is a terrific location. The acccess to the apartment is a bit of a hike but worth the climb of 36 steps to the front door.The apartment was warm, well ventilated and the shower rooms well appointed although showing some signs of wear and tear. The bed was iron framed so a little ''noisy'' . The kitchen is a difficult space to work with and could do with a re think when it is decided to refresh the interiors, an oven would be a very positive addition. We rented in December/January so its unlikely this would be a big issue in the summer months when the terraces would come into play.

Kitchen layout and equipment, time for some updating.

Not enough shade on the terrace during the day, way too hot to stay there. A standing shade would be necessary. The two extra beds (if you are 4) are not comfortable. For 2 people, this is not an issue

Exceptional rustic style apartment with a big rooftop terrace. Modern bathroom. Location right in the center of town (market everyday next to). Big public parking close to in case their private one is full (make sure you reserve way in advance during high season if you want one)

It is a nice apartement with fancy decoration and a spacious terrace. Check in and check out is well organized. It has an excellent location just a few minutes walking distance from the market and several good restaurants.

It is not so comfortable for four adults. There is a nice double bed for two persons, but for the other two persons futon beds are available, which are very narrow and less comfortable, so I suppose they are suitable for children. There is also not enough space for all beds in the bedroom, so we used the kitchen for sleeping.

The property was fantastic, great spaces and a characterful building. A good base for exploring the area by car.

One of the bedrooms was missing some curtains.
