Pretty area

Upon arrival the host was watching tv in our apartment, we were supposed to collect the keys from a lockbox so we were surprised to see the host inside our apartment. He welcomed us then disappeared into an adjoining room - where he resided , that had no option for us to lock the door from our side of the apartment. There were no curtains or window coverings downstairs at all in the apartment which made us feel uneasy . The apartment throughout had cobwebs and daddy long leg spiders ( next to tv unit, at bottom of stairs on cat ornament, in stair case balustrades, next to toilet and over bedroom ceilings) Couch was sunk in the middle which was obvious to look at and so much furniture in the room you couldn’t see the tv anyway.

The location is charming and well situated for visiting local attractions. The accommodation lived up to its description online. We would definitely stay again.

There was nothing that I didn't like.

Excellent self contained property, in a country village location, close to Clarach Bay, not far from Aberystwyth. Perfect for our stay. Will happily stay again.

The property was exceptional, and the host is very welcoming and helpful. Having two bathrooms was a luxury. The kitchen was furnished with plenty of dinnerware, cookware, and appliances. We enjoyed the location, with easy a cess to Aberystwyth and attractions including Devil's Bridge. The bonus is a lovely beach just five minutes drive.

Nothing.

So comfortable, each bedroom has its own bathroom and there is a fully stocked kitchen. The University is a only short drive away and you don't have to fight the city traffic. The cottage makes a great base for country walking too.

We would have liked to have a cafetière is the only thing I can think of.
