Five of us went to Antigua for our brothers wedding, and Villa Amazing was the perfect place for us to stay. Really beautiful home in a stunning location overlooking the harbour. We had 10 days and all thoroughly enjoyed it. Would highly recommend it. My only negative points were that it was quite high on the hill so you’d need to rent a car or rely on taxis. And the stray cats were a bit of an issue. There were always at least 4 (sometimes as many as 7!) begging for food around the villa. We didn’t ever feed them but they didn’t take the hint and still came back every day. It wouldn’t have mattered so much, but one of our group is allergic to cats so that became a bit of an issue. However all in all I would say if you want to stay by jolly harbour this villa is the prefect spot

This house is everything it boasts in the property description and photos. The views were amazing of Jolly Harbour, the outdoor space was a great spot to lay out by the pool, have a happy hour beverage in the lenai area, and grill and eat your dinner while watching the sunset. For 8 of us, we rented 2 cars at the airport...all beaches in the area have really convenient parking so we'd pack up the car with coolers and water toys every day. This was our 4th time renting a house in the Jolly Harbour area and had an absolutely memorable week...it wasn't long enough! Well we just returned and we were sad to leave this stunning home. In the right place, with the best views and easy to get to anywhere on the island. This is a magnificent home and if you want somewhere you can relax with friends and family it is perfect. We could not find a single fault or issue with the villa - it was simply stunning and we hope we can be back next year. The management team were first class and Rachel was so kind to organise taxis and car hire for us. Thank you for everything.

The views from this property are truly amazing! We would definitely return to this spot! We had a great time in Antigua. I do wish the front room/kitchen area had AC. Despite opening all the windows and doors, it became quite warm in that area, especially if cooking. Also, If you plan to cook much, bring a sharp butcher knife and a spatula-we bought them at the local store to supplement the dull dirty ones provided. We had to wash nearly all the dishes prior to using as many were put away in cupboard with dried food and debris. There was little space in kitchen/freezer for food storage either. The blender wasn’t working so they brought us a new one which was nice. I would recommend this place to people bringing friends or extended family members because there are 2 detached villas with 1 bed/bath each which is very nice and 2 bedrooms in the main house. When you go to the grocery store be sure to buy extra paper towels and napkins because there is only 1 roll provided and they will not bring you more!! Other than this we really had a spectacular time! All in all, we would definitely recommend this spot to anyone visiting Antigua.

We stayed over NYE in a very tough time to travel due to the pandemic. There was only 5 of us that stayed at the property a mix of friends and we had an unbelievable stay even thought it took us a bit to get to Antigua. Rachel was great about prepping us for the trip, including planning our tests at the Villa which we needed for our trip home. She was super helpful along the way. Loura, who manages the house, was fantastic. Not only was she on top of everything and helpful, but she was very quick in responding to any questions we had. She even pulled out a last minute massage at the Villa for one of our guests as a surprise birthday present. Darkwood and Ffryes Beaches are both a five minute drive from the house and gorgeous....but the Villa...the pool, the indoor-outdoor living, and that view! I would go back in a second and have already had a ton of friends asking about it. We would recommend 5 stars!

The villa was beautiful, well proportioned, clean and well maintained. We loved the location as the views were stunning and we were kept cooler with the gentle breeze. I would particularly recommend the villa to four couples sharing as all the bedrooms are equally lovely and private. Overall we really enjoyed our stay

We recently returned from a 3 wk stay at Villa Amazing. The views are truly “amazing” and are set within a magnificently landscaped yard. Outdoor living spaces are superb and easily accommodated our group of 7, providing ample space to gather or be alone. The pool was perfect for a quick dip or lazing on a float. While not issues for us but of note: The villa accommodates 8 people, but only 6 lounge chairs were provided at the pool. Friendly cats are frequent outdoor visitors. The indoor common area includes a sofa, small kitchen, and breakfast bar for 2. Without AC, this area was uncomfortably hot during the first two weeks of our stay. When things cooled down, the ceiling fan and outside air kept the room comfortable. Seating space in the common room is too small to comfortably seat 8 adults. The only group dining area is a covered outdoor area. The kitchen is well equipped but has limited food prep surfaces and no space to store dry goods. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. All are equipped with AC but 1 unit was broken throughout its occupants’ stay. We reported this issue on 31-Dec. The holiday understandably delayed repairs but the repair was further delayed by the PM’s report that it was not broken. During our final 6 days, 3 different technicians unsuccessfully attempted to repair it. Screens were damaged throughout the house, We were advised to tape the tears. On two evenings, we returned to find flying ants covering the interior walls of the common room. The screen repairman arrived during our final week and told us that he was only authorized to repair the screens in the owner’s bedroom. The internet is very slow (300 to 400 Kbs up and down), making it nearly impossible to work online or for more than 1 user to be online at a time. High speed Internet is readily available on island, including at a nearby Internet cafe and at the Sugar Ridge Hotel. Many thanks to Rachel for opening her home to us and for her quick responses to our endless questions as we planned our trip. Rachel was an enormous help with securing transportation and New Years reservations, and went above and beyond to make inquiries for us. We had a fabulous time in Antigua and can’t wait to return. It’s unfortunate that routine maintenance issues that should have been handled prior to our arrival lowered what would have been a 5-star rating to a 4.

An exceptionally well appointed property in a stunning location overlooking Jolly Harbour. Our party of 7 had enough space to spread out when so me-time was needed and lots of opportunities to come together comfortably when required. We really couldn't fault the villa and would thoroughly recommend. Rachel was superb with her communication and really went the extra mile - as did the team on the ground. Truly memorable!

Amazing property, clean, perfect location. The view is breathtaking, area is quiet. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this property. The owner is very prompt with her response and she answers all your questions. My family and I had a great time and we would definitely love to book again.

We stayed a week in beautiful Villa Amazing. Everything from communication to location and property condition were perfect. I would recommend a car rental as the hill is steep.

The name speaks for itself, it was amazing. The property is very well maintained and the buildings were beautifully built. The layout was a well thought out. All the bedrooms were large and spacious as well as the private bathrooms in each. The kitchen is open to the living room and made it very enjoyable while cooking meals to be able to hang out with one another while not being in the way of the family chefs of which three at a time could work comfortably. The patio/pool area is where we really spent all our time. My Son just finished his final exam for first year med school and really just wanted to decompress. The views, the infinity pool and the layout made it the perfect place to do that. The owner Rachael was very helpful with everything and set up a cab from the airport (Mary the driver was also great) and set up a rental minivan. She was always very responsive to anything we needed and I would like to thank her again for helping us have a great family vacation we will always remember

The villa was absolutely beautiful. We especially enjoyed watching the birds and feeding the king birds biscuits in the morning. Very close to some restaurants, beaches, and the grocery store if you don’t want to drive far. The view and breeze on the patio can’t be beat!

We had the most amazing time! One of the most beautiful views in the island! The house was perfect! We traveled with two kids ages 9 and 12 and they loved the pool, grounds and accommodations. We felt extremely safe and will never stay in a hotel or resort again! Everyone was so nice and helpful and we look forward to returning!

I and my family stay very well in villa Amazing (name and facts). The property is clean, very well mantained and both owner and manager provide good customer service. Easy check in and check out. The house is in very good location, near to all attractions and with a view over some beautiful beaches. The garden is fantastic with plenty of tropical flowers. I leave there a little bit of heart. Absolutely recommended.

Villa Amazing is a truly amazing home, we spent a wonderful 10 days there with friends. No photograph could ever do the views from the veranda and in fact, all the rooms of the house, justice. The villa itself is incredibly stylish and comfortable, we spent lazy days by the infinity pool in perfect surroundings enjoying the ambiance. Rachel and Lawrence are impressively well organised and helpful and have thought through every detail of the home and they also have great local knowledge of the area. I thoroughly recommend a stay in this home and the area of Sugar Ridge on the beautiful island of Antigua.

The owners of this property are both Amazing people and have a Villa aptly named in many ways. They saved us cancelling our flights. As unfortunately our planned accommodation was no longer available. Rachel & Lawrence were so kind - not only renting us the luxury of this most beautiful villa with it’s stunning views - but also helped us find accommodation for the last week of our holiday - as they were coming onto the island the last week. We were lucky enough to reside for 2 weeks at this truly amazing Villa. They also arranged for us to be collected from the Airport and vehicle hire for our 3 week stay - at very competitive prices with Mary’s Taxis. My partner and I have a 18 month old and she was so happy here. The steps into the pool were her little playground even at 6 - 8am in the morning she would head straight for the pool - and when we were there all day she would be in and out of it all day. We also had my father-in-law with us and the villa suited us all. The spacious living room is also very homely and comfortable on an evening. The outside lounging area and dining area was where we spent most days from dawn til dusk, with occasional trips to the Kitchen for drinks/ice and food. We were happy to be there all day - the views are stunning - it’s such a beautiful peaceful place. We spent most of the 2 weeks at the villa - leaving the visiting Antigua more for the last week . We are lucky enough to have visited the island several times recently so knew where we wanted to visit. This is the place to stay.....you pop to the shops when you arrive to get essentials and they go to the villa and only need to leave to get more supplies. Perfect. Many thanks to Rachel and Lawrence without your help this fantastic holiday could never have happened. A Holiday we will never forget. Love to you all. That includes Mutley & the puss cats. They'll be relieved Autumn is not chasing them around anymore - bless them. xx

I have justed celebrated my 60th birthday staying at this amazing villa which certainly lives up to it's name. On arrival at the airport the owners had very kindly arranged transport directly to the villa and booked car hire for us through Mary's taxi tours. The villa has an excellent location with a most incredible view. All amenities are close by with a good selection of restaurants to choose from. Each bedroom at villa amazing is individually decorated to an extremely high standard. Our only regret was the fact that our stay was not long enough. We will hooefully return back in the near future. Dave and Sally Oliver.

Very enjoyable stay, the only drawback is that you can't walk anywhere from the property without climbing back up a long steep hill but there again you can't get superb views without superb hills! Villa is well laid out with plenty of outdoor space for all members of a party not to feel crowded and have their own space. Villa even comes with its own friendly dog, Muttley, who has his own shelf of food provided by the villa owners.

My friend and I were staying with the owners of this beautiful villa for 2 weeks. My friend had just suffered a bereavement and needed time out to relax and unwind from all the stresses and aftermath of losing her father. This villa gave us peace, tranquillity, total rest and restored our very low batteries and gave us a sense of wellbeing. The views are just truly stunning whatever time of the day or night. The villa is spacious with many outdoor areas to sit and relax being surrounded by a lush tropical garden, wildlife and birds. We had a regular visit from the Sugar Ridge dog called Muttley who is adorable and loves company. We were sorry to leave and our two week stay was gone in a moment but we took home many happy memories of this perfect villa.

My family has been on several vacations to different Home away sites across the world including Canada and Hawaii and our experience at the "Amazing Villa" was the best holiday we have had as a family. The property itself is better than the pictures describe and the care given by the property owners and the property manager was fantastic. I would not hesitate for a second to go back to Antigua with the incredible beaches and wonderful restaurants and people. And I would definitely book my stay at this property again. This is the second time I've stayed at Villa Amazing - it's the perfect location to host my luxury business retreat for five women. High up on the hill you have the privilege of sweeping views of the Caribbean Sea, Five Islands, Nevis and St Kitts. Even more beautiful at night with the peace, moons and the stars with a wonderful terrace for an evening meal. Really delightful. And it's a perfect location to explore, which for me, are the best beaches in Antigua on the South West Coast. There are wonderful outdoor spaces to relax, meditate, do yoga, and the infinity pool is plus. The indoor spaces are fresh, cool, high spec, lovely beds and en suite bathrooms. There is plenty of space to come together when you want to and have time to yourself when you need it. What I love about it the most is that because it was built as a family home, it has heart and it's a lovely place to be because of this. I've explored quite a few villas in Antigua that are built as rentals and don't have that warmth as a result and it makes all the difference to the quality of your break. Rachel and Lawrence are a lovely couple and Felecia who manages the villa is fantastic too, always very responsive if you need anything. Thanks for creating such a beautiful space to appreciate the beauty and wonder of Antigua. Always feel grateful to have the chance to be here. Can't recommend it enough.

This property has a knock out view and all the facilities we needed. And everything seemed new and worked. There were 4 of us and we used the two main bedrooms. Our was lovely, great shower room and the a/c was perfect. The villa is designed for out door living and there is nothing better than sitting looking at that view with some chilled white wine. It was so lovely that we mainly shopped in the local supermarket (which is very good) and ate on the terrace.
