The people are amazing! The rooms are spacious and clean. I have a hard time sleeping in strange places and I sleep like a baby here every time I stay. Free continental breakfast is awesome, free Wi-Fi, comfortable beds, just all the things. I couldn’t say enough good things about this place!

You couldn’t pay me to shower in that tub. Nasty. 1 requested 1 king size room, and 1 double bed room. I got 2 king with an uncomfortable pull out mattress

Great place for a great price. Staff was so nice and made sure we were comfortable. Breakfast was hot and delicious. My son loved the pool. Hotel was very clean and rooms are very big which is great for families. We come to the area yearly and will definitely be back!

The public spaces and my room were neat and in good repair. The bathroom had a little damage and the toilet seat was the wrong size and shape for the bowl and kept sliding off when trying to use the bathroom. My main issue was with other guests. There was a group outside in the parking lot at an entrance having some sort of gathering and smoking for hours that I felt uncomfortable having to walk through to enter and exit the building. And the guests in the room adjoining ours were very loud until late at night and then were up again slamming their doors at 3 am. My child was crying when I put her to sleep for the night because the noise was so loud... Probably made worse but the fact that we had an adjoining door that allowed sound through easily.
Breakfast was ok. Not much selection and not super tasty, but it did the job.

There was a hole in the shower floor and the door to the exterior parking lot needs a seal. I can see daylight all the way around. I only saw one roach...

This is the second time within the last few months that we have stayed at this hotel. I chose it a second time because it was clean and comfortable and provided a good value. It is right in our sweet spot for what we can afford.

I was charged multiple times for my hotel...was told 3 times manager would call me to try to fix this...never got a call ..spoke to manager when checking out and she was very rude and unhelpful ..
Room did not have a shower curtain upon check in and the room was infested with stunk bugs that would fly around and attack you in bed when lights were turned off ..

Establishment was fine but late night loud people on the outside patio 2 nights of the 4 we stayed there.

The lobby and room was very clean and I enjoyed the fact that we had a floor level room which included an interior and an exterior door that lead directly out to our car. Our complaints were that the breakfast area was very small and was blended in with the seating area for the lobby. That would’ve been alright if other guests weren’t so invasive of others’ space while trying to access the food items. We were at this breakfast area all 3 mornings around 8am, breakfast runs from 6am-9am, and each day they ran out of milk by 8am. Also, there were no creamers or a secondary milk container at the coffee station. There are areas for improvement, but overall our stay was pleasant.

Strong weed smell in the hallway of the 2nd floor both at night and the next morning luckily couldn’t smell it when the room door was closed.

Dirty bathroom, room smelled like smoke then we asked for a new room and it also smelled like smoke and they tried to cover up by bleach, the carpet smells like dirty feet and sweaty socks, breakfast is also mediocre for example fruit is stale and over ripened. Not good and dirty, in summary

They were doing construction and I didn’t have a parking spot within reason of my room. I stayed on a Sunday and Monday night, it was so loud! Breakfast was not great, there was a hair in my bath towel and the mini fridge was terrible. It leaked and didn’t get cold. I wouldn’t recommend

i had booked my room through hotels and accidentally booked the wrong sunday and no one at the property or hotel would offer me any help with either changing the date or and assistance of any kind. I will not be using hotels.com or booking a room at the clarion since they wouldn’t offer me any help reconciling my scenario.

it was smoke free builing but i smell in the hall way

The staff was nice. The room was clean with a hard floor rather than carpet. Fixtures were clean. Doors and locks worked as they should. AC unit ran and was controllable to a comfortable temperature. Beds were comfortable. Pool and exercise room were added bonuses. Breakfast was very adequate and even included sliced almonds and dried cranberries. I appreciate the extra touch. There were eggs, sausage, and biscuits/gravy as well as the other stuff like cereal, toast, waffles, juice, coffee, etc. So overall, based on the fact that it checked all of our boxes and was in an area that felt safe and kept up, and in addition it was affordable, we will look here first, the next time we stay in the Louisville area.
