This is our third year going away with 3 familys together. We picked this property was not disappointed at all. This is a great property that is fun for all ages! Everything about the place was well though out and not skimped on. Would definitely recommend

The bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect, the game room provided lots of space and activities, the living room was amazingly beautiful, and the open concept allowed for everyone to be together for meals and games very comfortably. You can tell that the owners have gone out of their way to make this an amazing place. This was the first time our group stayed at a place with a hot tub and we can never go back...after a long day of skiing at Sunday River (a couple of minutes down the road), the hot tub was a great way to relax before evening activities. We were also very amazed at the views of Sunday River behind the home, I caught myself being mesmerized a few times, just staring at the beautiful scenery of the mountain and the river. We definitely look forward to staying again in the future! I'd also like to shoutout whoever is responsible for maintaining/cleaning the home, everything was super clean, well stocked, and all the technology was easy to use. I'd also like to thank the folks managing the property as they were very responsive and great to work with!

Close to everything but far enough away to feel like you are away from it all. Very well stocked. Spacious and ver clean. Will come back!

We have been renting houses in this area for several years now. I would say this is my favorite property! The house is absolutely beautiful and the location is excellent, right down the street from Sunday River! They have literally thought about everything in this house & the house is laid out so perfectly! There are drawers & closets so you can unpack when you get there, there are plenty of places for skis and snow gear in the entryway, you have access to the two car garage (so nice in the snow), heated floors in the entire house, great basement for guests who want a little bit of a private space, gas fireplace, hot tub, grill, every appliance you could possibly need, and a spectacular view! We had a great time!!!

We had a wonderful weekend trip! The house was equipped with everything you could need and very comfortable. The location on the river, hot tub, and games in the home were enjoyed by the kids and adults. Many restaurants were closed or overwhelmed since they were understaffed due to covid, so I would just plan to bring most of your food and enjoy the gorgeous home!

This property is beautiful!! Lots of neat swimming holes nearby. Anything that you could possibly need is at the home and everything was super clean! The only negative thing I can say is that there is no AC (which wouldn’t be a big deal except for the fact that it was 95 degrees the whole weekend we were there)!

My family and I had really an amazing time together in this house. It was everything we needed for our Easter weekend. Everyone enjoyed the space and my husband got to get out for a spring ski! Awesome accommodations. Thank you!

Rented this house fir kids February vacation, it was awesome only being a short drive away from SundayRiver. House is setup great and had everything we needed.

We had so much fun here. 5 minutes from Sunday River and the house was beautiful, clean and comfortable. Really nice use of space, plenty of room for all 11 of us. Instructions were clear on use of everything. Hot tub was great! Highly recommend

We were a Family party of 9. 4 adult children with their significant others. The house accommodations were perfect.Plenty of space to cook, socialize, rest and sleep.We had a wonderful time and plan to return.

Great property!

We had such an awesome time at the River’s Edge Retreat. We stayed with our three young children and two other couples. The house was very roomy but still very cozy. Everything is modern and updated, but still has such a great log cabin feel. House was super clean upon arrival, and was stocked with everything we needed. We crossed the river each day to hang out in the calmer water with a little sandy area to sit and play. Water was beautiful and we all enjoyed laying in floats. Hot tub is a perfect place to end the day with incredible views of the mountain and river. Also nights by the fire pit topped off our stay. Everyone loved the house, had an amazing time, and we are all looking forward to booking again, hopefully this winter for a ski trip!

Can't beat proximity to the mountain! House was as described. Comfy and lots of space for multiple families. We loved the gas fireplace to warm up after a long day skiing, and the round kitchen table to sit and play games at night. With exception of master, the rooms were a little smaller than I anticipated. Would definitely recommend!

House is fantastic. Easy to find. Walking distance to the Matterhorn. <5 minute drive to the mountain. Every worked great and was easy to use. Recommended!

We spent a long weekend with four other couples in this gorgeous home. The house was spacious, clean and stocked with just about anything you could need. The bedroom layout is perfect for couples given that there are four bedrooms with queens or better and plenty of bathrooms. We enjoyed the hot tub, game room, horseshoe pits, corn hole and had fabulous meals around the large dining room table. The location is beautiful with the river in the backyard, views of Sunday River and the brewery right down the street. Excellent communication by the property manager. My questions/emails were answered quickly. We all agreed that we would love to rent this home again!

Our stay at this vacation home was terrific , they have everything that you need here , this house is definitely our favorite rental house so far and will be our number 1 choice for the next time to Maine area !

This house is as beautiful as its location. Beds and couches were very comfortable. Plenty of seating both inside and outside. Short walk to the river where the kids (aged 7 and under) loved catching minnows, swimming, kayaking, and fishing. We stayed with three other families and it was absolutely perfect. We all wished we could have stayed longer and plan to next time!

The property has everything, games, hot tub and river. Our husband's loved hanging out on the deck.

This home was the ideal location for our family to spend this time together. We felt so comfortable as the home had everything that was needed whether it was family fun time or just resting and relaxing. We spent a lot of time keeping cool and exploring the beautiful river adjacent to the property and then retreated back up to the luxurious well appointed home with a one in a million view. We were all more then satisfied with what this property offered to us. Thank You for sharing your amazing home with us!
