The Hotel is located in a good location in the Masaki area - close to a lot of nice restaurants and beaches. The Hotel is very clean, comfortable and the staff extremely friendly. A big bonus was that they had free self-service laundry with detergents, which was very helpful. They also have check-out time at 12:00 noon which is quite nice.

The wi-fi was very bad. For a large part of my stay, it did not work at all. There was also an issue with the water supply during my stay. There was no running water in the bathroom for about two hours. But I think this was a one-off.

FAILURE TO SEE THE KENYAN FLAG IN THE SWIMMING POOL.! THIS REALLY ANNOYED ME..... Brewed tea could do better, rather than mixing water and milk. I hate the tea dispenser. charging in dollars. Further, the hotel needs to appreciate repeat customers. No contact person in case one needs assistance. No verification of guests. No guidelines to guests on issues like, places to avoid

Good location, nice sized pool with adequate loungers, good amount of parking. Friendly helpful staff fixed any issues that arose quickly with no hassle. Huge tv with Netflix. Air-con great. The rabbits and fish were a plus!

Cool and Quiet

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Totara and even extended by a few days. The room was very clean, the bed was huge, lots of hot water, aircon, fan, super fast WiFi, and massive TV with Netflix, YouTube, Google Fire TV. The staff were amazing - courteous and kind - and the breakfast buffet delicious. It is a short 5 minute walk to the ocean and Slipway Complex in one direction, and the other direction are restaurants and bars like the famous Samaki Samaki. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

Breakfast was very good and Afternoon Tea with cookies was a plus Amazing Koi on the Property and the outside Fountain was colourful and nice to see.. Staff were very good

The Bullfrog noise at night was load when I was trying to sleep so I had to move my Room which the Hotel accommodated, thank you.

Bed was very large and confortabile. It is a good option, especially for the good report quality-price.

It was a mold smell în our room, and carpet în living was not clean. Breakfast was acceptabile, although we didnt find many dishes for our taste.

Nice hotel with pool, small balcony, free washing machine, nice garden, and amazing breakfast.

Around the hotel is not much but a few minutes walk or a minute by taxi is the Samaki Samaki restaurant.

I liked the bed...it was big and comfortable...Tv had a good variety of channels. I loved the garden too... beautifully designed and gives the place that calm and therapeutic atmosphere ...very serene...

Smell of smoke in the room... consider having non smoking rooms or when smoking guests leave, please ventilate the rooms to the maximum.. Also they do not have a restaurant..they have an eating place where they serve tea and snacks throughout the day...so maybe a good thing to tell long staying guests at checking in so that they are able to order lunch and dinner early from nearby eateries...

Location is great in Oyster Bay, close to many offices and restaurants. Very convenient for us. They offered free laundry if you do it yourself, an amazing plus.

The location, from the hotel to any where much easy. I like the stuff and how luxurious the room is and its utilities. The staff deal with you like a family and many help you got if you need anything.

All round great accomadation, comfortable surroundings, great food and very friendly and helpful staff. I was very impressed. The view of the landscaped gardens with the goldfish was a very special treat

There were ants coming out from somewhere to the bed and on the walls even if the balcony door was opened, and no we didn't have any food inside. The ants just were there in the bed under the blanket and pillows.
