La ubicación y la amabilidad y simpatía de la propietaria . La habitación era muy espaciosa, parecía como un pequeño apartamento. Destacar la calidad del desayuno con productos de la zona.

La situation, l’architecture de la maison, la vue sur le château depuis la chambre,la taille de la chambre et de la salle de bain.

L'emplacement, le petit déjeuner et l'accueil. Avant l'arrivée j'avais déjà reçu toutes les informations indispensables pour l'accès et le stationnement dans la vielle ville.

Rien. Par contre pour ceux que cela dérange, le beffroi sonne tous les 1/4 d'heure.

Great location. Clean, spacious comfortable room. Wonderful helpful host and excellent breakfast. Great view of the castle from our room.

Parking was a bit of a challenge. WI-FI was inconsistent.

Everything. It was the most stylish, comfortable, interesting and charming place we've ever stayed in. The views over the castle were amazing. The beds super-comfy. Lucille was the perfect host and her breakfast was devine. Not having parking was not a problem. There are so many places to park on road nearby and the neighborhood is super-safe, friendly and quiet. Fougeres is a beautiful town that is well suited for families and couples alike and this hotel is the best we've ever stayed in.

Wonderful location, stunning window views, superb selection of foods offered for breakfast.

Our stay at Mercier de Montigny, Fougeres was magical. Everything in this medieval house is beyond what we had hoped for. The view of the castle is breathtaking. The room is tastefully decorated with antique furniture. The host is a very kind young lady who speaks English, French, and Spanish and makes the best homemade breakfast in France! You have to be there in person to experience how amazingly peaceful and calming the vibes of this bed and breakfast has. We had absolutely no issue with the floor being squeaky as that is a given with a very old house. But because of that, we think this place is most suitable for mature adult travelers (solo/couple/family/friends) who would avoid disturbing others by walking and talking very loudly. Thank goodness all the other guests were extremely friendly and considerate during our stay so we have nothing to complain about.

The rooms were really big with lots of details (we stayed in Cosmo room). We loved the views, they are Incredible. Breakfast was very nice too, we recommend the homemade yogurt. We will recommend it!!

It was very comfortable and spacious with amazing views of the castle.

The view from our apartment window was amazing as we over looked the castle and the town. Lucile was the perfect host and great communicator ,nothing was too much trouble. The building is a fantastic mix of the old and the new and the dining room is stunning.

I booked this room as a stopover but it was exceptional and I wish I had booked it for longer. The room was wonderful with gorgeous views, beautiful decor and a lovely balcony. The breakfast was absolutely delicious with a wide range of fresh food served in a delightful dining room. The host was attentive and friendly without being intrusive. The room was surprisingly cheap so that was an added bonus. I highly recommend this lovely hotel. Fougeresis also a charming and interesting location.

Incredible view and very comfortable room. Breakfast, homemade produce and so much choice. Lucile was friendly and helpful. We appreciated the extra toiletries, drinks and the fan to keep us cooler. We hope to return in the future.

Fabulous location in the town centre but very quiet. Wonderful views over the castle from our huge room in this very old historic building. Lucille was lovely and she made an excellent breakfast. Very good value.

Old style but modern inside. Great host

We stayed 3 nights. Everything was perfect. it is a good base for touring Brittany and Mt Saint Michel. Access to the property by car is easy and parking is by the front door. Lucille prepares a wonderful breakfast. There is a great town market Saturday morning in front of the property. Good restaurants within easy walking distance. Recommend to reserve restaurants esp on weekends.

It offers a unique experience. If the weather is as bad as what I got, it’s perfectly ok to stay in the room and enjoy the views.

Good location. Unique experience in a historic home full of character. Great views from large bedroom over the historic town & Chateau. Excellent personalised hosting with home made breakfast including croissants, crepes, yogurt, juice & bread to name a few items. Lovely freshly brewed coffee. Nothing was too much effort. Our host is fluent in French, English & German. Highly recommended.

Weather...damp & cold however it was winter!
