Located in Castleisland, The Yellow Door is a recently renovated accommodation, 18 km from Kerry County Museum and 19 km from Siamsa Tire Theatre. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the holiday home free of charge.

Everything at the yellow door was excellent. It was just myself and my boyfriend that stayed on the night but the house has alot of space and will fit 6 adults at comfort and it has another bedroom with bunk beds which would be great for kids. The house was so beatiful, comfortable, clean and Rachel our host even left some biscuits, crisps and milk for us on arrival. Rachel was very nice and accommodating meeting us early on the day. Location is perfect in the centre of town we could walk everywhere and surprisingly the house was quiet, we were not interupted with any street noise. Highly recommend a stay at the yellow door.

Huge house. 4 bedrooms and 3 restrooms, it was more than enough for 5 guests and the price per person is cheaper than average hostel. Everything was clean and fresh. Tons of snacks, water even milk was waiting for us in the fridge. One of the stays where you want to stay longer or even buy such house. Huge living room allows to gather downstairs to spend time with friends. We arrived a bit later than we expected and collected the keys from the bartender next door. Owner is really nice and contacted us for all our questions.

Smart, clean house and very comfortable beds. Owners of property very helpful. Location great for exploring Dingle Peninsular, Kerry Ring and Killarney National Park. Convenient for visiting local shops.
Layout of house and sofas means that it is difficult for 6 people to sit comfortably all together to watch TV and relax. No dishwasher.

Great size, very clean and organised, close to town amenities, friendly helpful owner- Rachel.

We made our own breakfast in a totally equipped kitchen. When a thunder storm knocked out the electicity, Rachel came in and did the morning dishes I had to leave, brought us pastries for a treat plus a bottle of wine and apologized. The storm wasn't her fault!
Our driver wasn't so happy that the Yellow Door was half an hour from Killkenney, but it was worth the distance for us. It was absolutely our best accomodation in Ireland. It was great to relax in the evening with the place to ourselves. The laundry facilities (including soap) were really welcome. However, you need to take the distance over a bumpy road into consideration.

Fab stay in the yellow door. The house is amazing, pictures don’t do it justice! Extremely clean and the decor is gorgeous! Beds super comfy. Would highly recommend a stay! Rachel and Niall are both fantastic hosts. Can’t say enough good things about the house!

We loved the hospitality, the cleanliness and the facilities. Everything was amazing. There were ample towels and loads of treats.🤗. Although there were full jars of tea and coffee, Rachel/Niel dropped coffee pods the next morning which was very thoughtful of them. Another plus -The house is equipped with lots of great books.
The house is located very near to grocery stores like Centra and another one just adjacent to the house. Lidl in walkable distance as well.
We had a mishap with booking.com right before booking this place and hence had to rush to book this place. But Rachel was very helpful to arrange the place in a very small timeline and get it ready for us.
Altogether a great experience, a very satisfying and relaxing stay, all thanks to Rachel and Niel.
Just one suggestion - You should include a picture of the front of the house in the booking.com website, which will definitely increase the demand for the stay.
That we had to leave the place in 2 days. 😔
